    No - we are in Scotland - our BR lasts for 3 yrs - 27/10/05 - 27/10/08

There is a Bill going through Scottish Parliment at the moment to bring our BR laws in line with England and Wales

It certainly is - the only good thing about our BR laws is that is only cost £63 each - but you must have a statutory demand or a CCJ before you can declare

PS - I am sure I heard earlier that Kylie will be ok for the rest of the week - enjoy

  • Hi, I have been lurking on this board since probably November. I officially got my BRCSC number this week.

What prompted me to join you all is two things:

    1. The refreshing spirit of the board of honesty and openness.
    2. Genuine, impartial advice from people who don't necessarily have 'expert knowledge', but do have 'been there, done that, knowledge'.

I have seen that lately there have been skirmishes about accuracy of advice, etc. I do understand that everyone gives the best advice they know of, and we take that advice at our peril.

But, also, I have been a bit confused by the recent hostilities, and it makes it really hard for (relatively) new, anxious about their situation, people, who want help and advice.

Is it possible for EVERYONE to just back down a bit, and give and accept criticisms and corrections with the spirit in which they are intended, which is to help those who are beginning, or going through, or have been through the difficult enough process of bankruptcy?

Sorry, Mike, if I have stepped on your thread-toes - I would just hate this fantastic thread which has helped me so much, go down in flames because people can't give and accept comments on posts.

Thank you all for your valued advice. 40 hours till bankruptcy

Thanks for this Louise. I think you have hit the nail on the head.

I for one have come on later this PM as fresh as a daisy.

40 Hours... it'll fly by.... Are you all ready ?

I'd like to say yes, but am a bit scared to print off forms in case I've forgotton anything.

On the other hand, I don't want to leave it till much later, in case anything goes wrong with computer, internet connection etc.

    Dilemmas, dilemmas, lol
  • I've noticed your signature has changed. Does this mean girl's names quest is resolved?

No, I got a PM today from the BG's telling me that my sig was too big and large sigs slow the system down!

So I have to make the sig a bit smaller and it was easy!

Still looking for suggestions! Had lots of suggestions, but none that both OH and I like!
