Don't know whether you missed me or if I'm not allowed a number? I've got the forms and I know deep down it's the right thing for me. I'm just being silly, as I'd like to get involved in local politics and it's something that I'll never be able to do after br. Although I guess if that's the worst that happens in my future I'll be very lucky!

Of course you can have a number..... 22....

I thought that, I have a keen political eye (see,... I can talk like one !) But I know if I do then irt wont be for a while. But I suppose my sanity is 1st and formost. People forget, It isnt always the individuals fault for Bankruptcy ... Its a fact of life and the law encourages it for people who genuinley need it.. the legislation would not be there if it wernt.

Have you got a date yet.. The worst thing for me was completing all them forms, and because we are claiming Partnership Bankruptcy, then all the forms are different again, and there are more..

Dont get too down about it .

Don't have a date yet, I'm not sure how I'm going to fill in the forms as I physically can't write that much. I need to get back to CAB about it and see if they'll do it for me.

I'm a bit worried about the bit about gambling, I've never gambled myself (apart from the very occasional lottery ticket) but I have an ex who set up an online poker account with my bank details without my knowledge, so it does look on my statements like I've gambled, although it was over a year ago so it might not be noticed.

Also in danger of being swayed by people who say 'you're on benefits and there's nothing they can do to you, let them take you to court rather than taking such a drastic step', and my mother who says I should try to go down the irresponsible lending route, as one bank admitted to me that they should never have given me the loan as I was on benefits (I had to pay rent for a year while waiting for HB to be sorted out, hence my debt). But I don't have anything in writing about it.

I was so sure but now it's come to it I'm starting to get scared.

I haft to agree with mike even though im doing single bankruptcy i found the forms a complete headache (did mine online 34 pages) took me about 2 and a half hours as i had no idea what they would want to know so had to go through all my files of paperwork for each section .I didnt really have time to go through the idea of bankruptcy in my head as i spoke to payplan yesterday evening and thats what they said was the best option for my circumstances so i went straight online and ploughed through it ,then rang the court this morning and got my date .

Really dont worry .

The gambling thing, HB thing, debt thing etc etc Just tell the truth !!!! Thats all they can ask and that all you can give. Look at it this way. What can they do to you.. Think about it. NOTHING AT ALL !

Please dont worry. If you owe more money than you are ever gonna clear then just do it. Your mums right, but it wont get you anywhere at all in the courts. you signed the forms faor and simple. Please dont worry. Wea re all here always also.
