Just thought I'd let you know...court went really well - everyone was very friendly and helpful. The judge was great too. Nobody asked me to justify my spending or debts - I can't believe I've done it. A huge relief.

Just waiting for the OR to get in touch now.:j

Well done Chilli - don't forget to stick around and let others learn from your experiences.

  • I went to town today - just to check out where the County Court is. In case I couldn't find it when I need to!
The number of times I walked past that Court when I was at College, and I never knew it was there!

Made me feel better seeing where it was.

Great news Chilli, makes me sound more hopeful
  • hi everyone i must try harder to get on here more often

we only told the people who needed to know the he was going br ie very close friend who had already gone br my parents cos they wouldn't freak and another close friend who is preparing to go br.

but unfortunately people found out. two of our friends came over to our house out of the blue a few days after it had been in the paper and i know the looks i get off people i no longer speak to. but the two worst had to be a lady who's hair i do got the paper and showed it to my grandad ( 83 years old and my mam had already told him ) this lady comes to my house sits and gets her hair done and drinks my coffee oh and she says she's my friend. this is the time you find out who your true friends are. the worst of all was the company that was going to take the car off us on behalf of the or. they phoned while we were not in and my oh dad answered the phone the person on the other end of the phone then went on to tell his dad who they were and why they were coming to get the car. oh boy did we have a lot of explaining to do but they came up trumps and paid the or the money to stop them taking the car.

i hope all of you are well and sleeping better

    Thanks Sev,

You are certainly right - it's at times like this that you find out who your true friends are. There will always be someone who thinks it clever to remind you of your situation - as if you need it.
Still today's news is tomorrow's history - people soon forget.
    Glad about the car though.
    Cheers
