I have asked this before but I'm still not sure what to do. Sorry to ask again.

The BR forms are done apart from "when did you first have difficulty paying your debts".

I can't think how to answer this as it has been a gradual descent into debt. As the overdraft is part of the debt I thought maybe it was when our income stopped bringing the account into credit (which was a long time ago).

Or was it when there was a stark choice between paying the debts or buying food?

I statd the 1st time we contacted payplan andCCCS... Thats about when you know its over really....

Hi bizzy i would write exactly what you just put as its an honest answer and i put something along those lines on mine .when you speak to the OR they ask you the same thing and i found it much easier to tell them than write it down.

Although a gradual descent, there must have been a time when you thought " this can`t go on - I need help " . That`s the point when you identify that you are having difficulty. As long as you are straight with your answer there will be no problem. It`s a bit like the lightbulb moment.

Thank you all of you for your replies. Forms are all filled in and everything is ready so now it's just a matter of waiting for tomorrow.
I couldn't have got this far and kept my sanity without this thread.

I've done it!! As from 5 past 10 this morning I am out of debt!!
