Yes - I had mine about 3 weeks ago, but had to go to OR office. It wasn't at all bad, or judgemental - I posted a resume on here. Mine lasted over 3 hours, but I think that the telephone interview is generally much shorter.
Just answer the questions as honestly and fully as possible - it'll be fine.

Well it took all of 28 minutes, ended up speaking to a nice lady who just wanted to know how my debts built up,when I first had trouble paying my debts and the reason which most attributed to me not paying my debts. Definately not as bad as I thought. She even told me to have a nice christmas:D

Indeed I do a new start for the new year, and with all these letters halifax aree sending me im sorted for winter fuel:beer:
  • First of all send a letter to the Inland Revenue and tell them that you no longer employ an Accountant and to please remove his details from the system, sending all future correspondence to yourself.
Then, when you complete your tax return in April, the details for an accountant will be just left blank.

I do all my accounts myself. Yes you are wasting money!

Your business seems to be quite straightforward - cash in, then expenses out. These are not difficult to do.

I will tell you this - if you have any problem at all in completing your tax return, all you do is to make an appointment with your local tax office and someone there will help you do this - FREE OF CHARGE!!

If you do this, then submit your tax return online, before 31st December in each financial year - the computerised system will tell you immediately how much money you are due to pay, including national insurance contributions.

    I hope this helps.

thanks for the advice, im going to do just that from know on.
