Right, I have a bit of a silly question! What did you wear to court?
I'm heavily pregnant and dont really have any smart maternity clothes - I'm also going to have to wear trainers as these are the only flat shoes I have (I'm far to big and wobbly to be wearing heals now). I'm a bit worried that I'm going to come across as scruffy and they wont think I'm taking it seriously??!!
I really would not worry too much about what to wear, I fretted about it too and ended being the most over dressed person there:D
and its not as scary as you imagine it will be fine .0 -

i thought i was getting some money today - it only went into the wrong account!! I phoned my or but he never rung me back - will i be able to get this money back?coupon over here, coupon over there, every crack filled with coupons even down there(meaning under the buggy lol):D0 -
The Insolvency website states "You can keep the following items unless their individual value is more than the cost of a reasonable replacement:
tools, books, vehicles and other items of equipment which you need to use personally in your employment, business or vocation;
clothing, bedding, furniture, household equipment and other basic items you and your family need in the home."
If they take the car then I will end up having to get a similar car for the same amount which just defeats the object.
I need a car to get to work because I work shifts and on-calls etc

I just left you a reply on other thread page!!
Basically if you will be worse off or need the car for employment then you should be able to keep the car. When it is valued they use auction price which is roughly 50% of private sale value. They must also take off the fee for an agent to be instructed to collect.. One of our cars came down from £800 to £350 because of this calculation. :j
Also the removal of any asset like this is at the discretion of the OR and YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO APPEAL AGAINST ANY DECISION MADE BY HIM /HER. this could mean going all the way to court for a judgement.1/11/06 -1/06/07 BSC #42

The Judge is not there to pass comment on how you are dressed, his job is to check the petition is all correct and satisfy him/herself that all the paper work is in order to grant the order. wear something you feel comfy in and DONT WORRY
Good luck for tomorrow. It will all be over much quicker than you think and then you can get on with the rest of your life1/11/06 -1/06/07 BSC #42
