Working Tax Credit, while normally based on the previous tax year, has a specific question on the forms asking if your income in the CURRENT year differs? This is where you inform them of your income for the current year and you will be assessed on that.

tough love.
Go to sleep and wake up later, and see how you feel.
Go for a walk, doesn't matter if air is not fresh where you are, it is free.
I wasn't being funny about your driving, typing at work when I shouldn't be on here, so quick replies.
Nothing wrong with being a boy racer.
If you don't want our help or our advice, fine, no problem. Won't post again.
There are charities out there that will help with food parcels. Basic, but something to survive on.
And I am sure you could go to the Job Centre and declare extreme poverty and they would have to at least offer you a crisis loan to buy food.
I still think you would be entitled to something benefits wise, even if you think not WTC, then Income support. It would mean not working, but gives you a chance to eat, breathe and live. And then look for something to get you back on the road.
There are lots of people on these forums that can and will help. Things like negotigating payments, etc.
Upto you now.0 -

Thanks, i'll try again, but i've been told no, twice already, even though my income was only a few hundred above the threshold.
It would make so much difference to me. Free eyesight tests, ( i'm long overdue ), and free prescriptions, ( i suffer really badly from hayfever, and it costs a fortune in medication, for most of the year ). I never thought, stupidly, to make use of this while i was on esa.I know you can pay an annual prescription fee, but it works out more expensive ,as i don't have enough prescriptions, per year. I ordered my hayfever relief from my gp last week, but of course i don't know when i'll be able to collect my tabs from the chemist, because thats low propirity, too. My gp is very good, and they give me multiple products on one presciption ( which they should'nt ), because they know i'm struggling, on a low/ variable income. I also had to cancel a dental appointment last week, which i'd had for 6 months, because i did'nt have the funds for that, either. I'm sure there must be plenty of people like me, struggling in this way. Dentist - luxury. Prescription - luxury item. Glasses - no way - total luxurious item.
I've been given permission to change my name, although my head is bursting, and i can't think straight enough to think of any names now. Any suggestions welcome, though i'm not sure i'm up to making decisions.

I've been for a walk, my head is still exploding. I don't know why i feel like this, today. Maybe its the events of last week, catching up with me, plus the disturbing dream, plus the fact i really am, pennyless.
I remembered this afternoon, something that happened yesterday. Not to me, but to someone else. This is a true, if rather odd, story. A complete stranger, approached some one at the station, and asked them if they would like them to buy them lunch? newspaper? magazine? ( the same sex, no obvious hidden agenda ). They politely, declined. This person went away and came back with a magazine, newspaper, sandwich, snacks and a bottle of wine, no less. They ate their lunch together, and this person left. I thought they were family, or knew each other. But no. Did you keep an eye on your wallet, i asked? Yes, that was the first thing i thought of, they replied. Sad, is'nt it , that was the first thing we both thought of. My gut reaction was, you never know what someone else is thinking, and i said so. They could have been feeling how i am today, and just wanted someone to share their last supper, as it were. Maybe they were just lonely. Or maybe they were just a kind hearted person, spreading a little happiness . Theres only one person, who will ever know. I'll put this in my diary, so i remember it. It really did happen, and if those people are reading my diary, i'll die of embarrassment, alone. Yes. 47 pages of carp. The only person i have to talk to, is myself.
I'm not up to making a decision about a new name today. That takes a commitment that there is life after bankruptcy, one that i still can't reconcile, yet.
Thankyou all for your support and comments. I have managed to defer the dd for my car insurance, until the end of the month, so that in itself, is a start, but not enough.

A while a ago I told you that you would move on from bankruptcy, from repossession. Do you feel you're doing this what with being discharged. As an ex bankrupt how do you feel about the process? I would guess it is different from a couple of months ago.
What I'm going to say is not going to be "lovey dovey, there there" but as an ex bankrupt and someone who has lost their little girls their home, their security, I have been there.
Nohope you have no money, very little money, zilch money. It's a struggle to make ends meet and it actually sounds as if they don't meet. You have pence to live on?
I could give you umpteen links to help you live healthily on pence. I know a super website that does just this. But I have to ask myself whether you're here for the help, the practical help or whether you just want somewhere to just offload, let your feelings out.
When you're ready to let all the negativity go, to truelly move on then you will feel better. Do a bankruptcy board search for Amiga (Diary of a broken gambler). A bankrupt, had a whole host of problems. No job, gambling addiction, lost everything, everything Nohope, even his car to the bankruptcy, lonely, lonely man, walked 10 miles there and 10 miles back to go to a job interview, got the job, couldn't access public transport, someone form MSE sent him a little money to buy a second hand bike and he was off.. literally. He was down, so so down but wanted to move on and because of that positivity ensued, his life changed.. no sorry HE MADE HIS LIFE CHANGE
Time to let the negativity go?0
