Sorry to be awol - nothing alarming, just busy at home. The doc says Mum has bronchitis and is keeping her on the antibiotics - I'm intending to visit tomorrow.

This whole business of tax is crazy. And 90 live employments? 90?! Well, I suppose at a quick glance that might explain how they came to think of you as employed, whatever your true status. How long does an 'employment' stay 'live'? A year? Forever?

And another medical? Doesn't the doctor's sick note count? Obviously not.

Urgh. I'm sorry you've had such a frustrating day.

{Hugs} to who need them (free, untaxable, no waiting list or assessment needed). :)

    Hi Ani

I hope you are not dreaming about esa, dwp, hmrc, dro`s ,cheese and sc`s....omg what a nightmare combination that would be :eek:.

I hope you make some headway this week and good luck with the appointments... Its hard work being ill these days and the authorities need to understand that they must to allow some time for recovery.. Sadly though they prefer to hound and bully people instead and it doesn`t feel right to me that they can get away treating people that way..

Anyway been busy as I bought a car today. I have the company car at the moment but I am fed up with being beholden to a company that I hate and seeing so many redundancies makes me want to move on..

Whayhay I can now start job hunting :D:D...anyone know any millionaires that need a pa? (actually on second thoughts I`d be a rubbish pa...can`t type:o)

    Hugs to everyone x

Am i ok. Not really. No. Almost into july and my fifth month of sickness. Or ongoing stress whilst trying sort all matters income related. I don't know what to say. It's neverending. All i've wanted, gosh, wanted, is my rent and council tax paid and my £71 a week. Sponging off the state, hey. I don't think anyone understands the way the system works to take an extra £10 a week off the legal minimum required to live. Except me, that is, because i'm the one with the pocket. I think i've just about established a status quo with it all. Until my benefits change again. If they didn't keep changing every week. Urgh.

I have an appointment at the gym. I don't want to go. I'm embarrassed about my lack of fitness. I can't afford it, even though it's at a reduced rate. £2 per session and realistically, i can't even afford one session per week. It works out more expensive than sailing, which worked out 75p per week, and i couldn't afford that. Realistically i'm not " fit " for sailing. At least the gym is supervised. I'm less likely to sustain another injury.

I had a quick look at cookers yesterday. They are horrendously expensive and will ask the kitchen company if they have anything cheaper as part of the kitchen. Even the cheapest cookers are almost £200, and i haven't been told a budget. Still haven't decided whether to go and see the torch. The cost of getting there puts me off.

All in all, i'm pretty despondent.

I just had to post this in my thread as it is so hilarious. Someone said to me this week they thought i was dead.

Replies with the wow factor, ( or hilarious factor)

    - smile sweetly and say 'Yes, that's right'.
    - "Oh, am I? How remiss of me."
    - "I missed my funeral, did you go?"
    - "Reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated."
    - "I could be, what do you think?"

Wish i was a bit quicker off the mark

    That's made my day :p

Apart from the above being sooooo hilarious, i do keep on plodding? and plodding. and plodding. I must be mad

I have had my first session at the gym. It's a shame i can't afford to go very often, as i feel uplifted. Yes uplifted. Do i? For starters, i lost 4 stone in the space of 5 seconds. Yes that's right. I lost 4 stone. Now i've been fretting for some time over my weight, as when i went into hospital, i was weighed and the nurse either added 4 stone to my actual weight, or the scales were wrong. Maybe it was some idea of a joke, as i was err, unable to see the scales at that time. I've had to check the scales twice this time. it is indeed true and i am 4 stone lighter than i was under the impression. Thank god for that. I don't feel so bad about myself now. Instantaneous weight loss. How am i so naive i could actually believe i was that weight? Because i never weigh myself? That's another thing which has preyed on my mind these last four months. Ah well.

I'm also fitter than i thought i was, ( sigh,) but then i've always been super active. It's still the problems of dizziness and co ordination. I'm still dropping things and falling over. And, AND i made use of the sauna and steam room whilst i was there, ( probably the most beneficial,) although i could feel the muscles working in my legs. I just need to rebuild muscle strength? But i've definitely got the motivation to go again, which is a postive, if only for the deep clean and sauna :D Shame about the money. It's a real problem finding the £2, but £2 well spent in terms of health and well being. It's the first time i've ever used a gym as i prefer to participate in outdoorsy things. For now, i'm converted.

Had a phone call from jcp. I should have had my atos medical weeks ago and no one knows why there's been a problem, ( which there has, surprise surprise.) They told me to ring atos and ask them for a medical, which of course, won't go in my favour, as it means more benefits. Isn't that their job, not mine? It's now become cheese lackey's job. Still waiting to hear from hmrc, too. Looks like this has now become my job to ring them again. I know i'm only a tiny fish in a very large ocean, but all this is crucial to me.

Plodding or fighting? It's all too ludicrous.
