I must go on sc patrol as i've seen some offenders heading in the direction of my lettuce. Did i tell you i've only just realised i have some lettuce?

And some tomato plants i think, ( not sure what they look like.) The obvious solution would be to google tomato plants?

I also had a colony of sc's in my bird table, today :eek: Buga's

I've found out who has been feasting on my viola's. Spied red handed, yesterday morning, the most striking bird, and i'm not sure if it was a Bullfinch or a chaffinch. I think it was a bullfinch. Little buga. Still got robins hanging around, too.

i am 4 stone lighter than i was under the impression.

They say go by how well your clothes fit. After your experience I think I may pay more attention to that!

I'm also fitter than i thought i was, ( sigh,) but then i've always been super active. It's still the problems of dizziness and co ordination. I'm still dropping things and falling over.

Did they have any suggestions about that? Good to know you haven't lost all your fitness though.

Maybe you have dropped back a bit from a higher starting point than a lot of us, so you are still relatively fit?

Had a phone call from jcp. I should have had my atos medical weeks ago and no one knows why there's been a problem, ( which there has, surprise surprise.)

*sigh*

They told me to ring atos and ask them for a medical, which of course, won't go in my favour, as it means more benefits. Isn't that their job, not mine? It's now become cheese lackey's job.

I do hope CL never finds this diary...

Still waiting to hear from hmrc, too. Looks like this has now become my job to ring them again.

On the subject of sc, there was an article in the paper today about french restaurants stealing our 'escargot'. Apparently they fetch £1 each and people are kidnapping them and raising £400 a time from a couple of carrier bags full. Apparently the population has been 60% decimated and they don't lay eggs until they are 4/5. Spirits raised - money for what I don't want. Spirits dashed moments later as they are only found in woods in Surrey and there are now security patrols! Drat it!

Upshot is, atos is running last in the marathon, and nothing will happen until they pass the finishing line, and i get my medical. Which also means no extra money on " benefits " day, ad infintium. Sigh

Do you know, i've help from that many people and yet? god help others with less fight than me.

The good news is i can ring my contact at jc anytime i like, ( as long as i don't lose the phone number,) now, where is it? That's some comfort, at least, and i won't ring until i receive my letter to go for my medical. They did at least advise me under no circumstances to go onto jsa. Must remember that one.

The bad news, the person from hmrc who said they would ring before 3.30pm, didn't ring. No surprises there, then. Another one for ta, tomorrow. I can't be bothered..................

Pah, l'escargot disappeared, been otherwise engaged for too long. Found huge l'escargot in front garden. Why do i have the entire uk population of sc's in my garden?
