Although I've seen 3 Dogs around, I don't know her so I wasn't aware this was in the offing. :( I'm really sorry to hear it.

One forward two back seems to be a theme. ((Hugs))

Ani, I think you'd probably get the distinctive 'vine tomato' smell if those are tomato plants. You can't really miss it once you smell it! I don't know if the very young plants will have it though.

    CL = Cheese's lackey. :)
On the subject of sc, there was an article in the paper today about french restaurants stealing our 'escargot'. Apparently they fetch £1 each and people are kidnapping them and raising £400 a time from a couple of carrier bags full. Apparently the population has been 60% decimated and they don't lay eggs until they are 4/5. Spirits raised - money for what I don't want. Spirits dashed moments later as they are only found in woods in Surrey and there are now security patrols! Drat it!

So if we put Ani's wheelie bin in the woods in Surrey we can all retire to the Bahamas?

I think it's been one of 'those' days for so many people. Virtual cake and hot chocolate (with marshmallows and cream and stuff) all round, and tomorrow is another day.

Oh now, quicker than I imagined too, I know they've had a rough few night - oh god, how sad :(

sorry Ani, didn't mean to hijack your thread there but :(:(

Glad you enjoyed the gym, well done on the instant 4st weight loss :rotfl: I've been doing a boot camp for the past 11 weeks, deff got my fitness levels up but weight going up too (all that muscle I'm apparently building ) but Miggy's right in saying go by how your clothes fit.

Brining my toms in tonight so slimy critters can't get them - then off to get slug pellets tomorrow - it's WAR!

Have just been to take the dog up the road and found a huge 4" long slug on the doorstep. Never seen anything like it. Fawn colour with dark brown markings. Half an hour on the internet tells me its a leopard slug and they can grow up to 8 inches

Its a bit big for me to deal with but it does apparently have one attribute - it will eat other sc. Hope its gone by the morning and there aren't any more!

Oo-er. Maybe you should hire it out as there seems to be such a problem: you might make a fortune from desperate gardeners!

I go to the GP referral class at my gym and like you cost is an issue.
I use it try to build up my leg muscles

    Shame about the cost :(

Yes, mine was a gp referral. I believe they are very difficult to obtain, ( like everything else.) I definitely need to strengthen my muscles.

I still feel people will judge, you know, look at them, going to the gym, sort of thing. :o Still, the sauna alone, worked wonders on the relaxing front, albeit 5 minutes of it, ( didn't want to fall asleep in there.)

Not much to say this morning. Kitchens on my mind today. I have seen a cooker i like. Yes, one i would choose. It's £250. Slightly more expensive than the cheapest cooker you can buy, but one i would like to live with in my lifetime. Its also designed for a small kitchen, has a magical hob which takes less than no effort to clean. That's the biz. I don't do domestication.

Aside from that, i should ring ta today and let them sort tax affairs. And i really should start thinking about my mileage claim, as lack of money is a worrying issue, with the thought i may not get expected tax rebate, ( it's my money, after all,) and my increase in esa, for some considerable time.

I'd like to see ANY politician live on my income.
