Life after bankruptcy?

I'm disappointed the kitchen company didn't turn up. I can't help wondering if it's just another fruitless saga? However, i will try and get another appointment today, which means more waiting time for them to come and design the kitchen, time for them to make it, and time for them to come and install it. I think this is going to take some time? Maybe 2 years? I wonder if the ha would snigger if they had a councillor on the other end of the phone? Probably.
I think i will apply to become a councillor. The actual " job " description, ( of course, it isn't a job,) suits me perfectly, although i don't want anyone to know my own personal situation. I am genuinely interested in putting my time where my mouth is, if it's for the benefit of the community, after all, my brain is still functioning? Too many people complain and are unwilling to do anything about it. Putting yourself in the firing line? Hmmm
It's been quite a week. Although my personal circumstances, finances and health, are far from resolved, i've made steps forward in other area's. That's saying something, isn't it?
I still haven't decided what to do today. Oooo payday today. Shame i can't spend any of it. Until monday and rent day, that is, and then dro which will clear me out. Still living from bill to bill.Debt free - Is it a state of mind? a state of the Universe? or a state of the bank account?

I don't like " that " other thread, as with others, because it makes you think about things you otherwise want to forget, and the fact i'm now four months overdue for my errm, appointment. I'm still ambivalent, but would you really want to endure something so invasive. Just stay awayDebt free - Is it a state of mind? a state of the Universe? or a state of the bank account?

Hold onto that position at the top of the rollercoaster.
are you satisfied withwhat they suggested? Room for appliances etc.Never pass a chance to say you care to those in your life as we are not promised a tomorrow0 -
Aesop,what language was that? :eek::p
Satisfied?
It was all over in the blink of an eyelid :rotfl:
Well, they have designed it and i have the plans
At least it incorporates space for a cooker, washing machine and fridge, and doubles the amount of storage space and worktops. Downside is i had to lose my old fashioned larderNever mind. I chose cream tongue and groove units, ( radical for me ) as it such a small kitchen, to lighten it up, dark worktops, ultra modern handles, and, and? oh, a mixer tap, ( that runs into the sink,)
Off to see a t

I don't know about HAs, but when I worked for County Council (okay, I'm doing too many 'when I worked for' stories) everyone used to jump if a Councillor so much as raised and eyebrow, let alone got to the tapping little finger stage.

Cut that out and frame it.:T We will all :T with you.
