Ah, caught you out there. It isn't my diary you've been reading, is it?

Ha ha, I have no idea where I read it! Either you put it somewhere or my sixth sense for plants is a lot stronger than even I suspected (and it isn't going to be the latter).

A few days ago i cheated, ( yes, cheated,) i saw some pepper plants in full bloom, and the rest is history, given i realised i was a bit late off the mark. So i now have almost two dozen peppers almost ready for eating. Those plants are getting treatment fit for a queen. Want my address?

At last - revenge! *insert evil miggy grin* - Now it's my turn to say you have no idea why that's funny, apt and generally very good! I'm not going to tell you though. Oh, no.

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

They do sound very nice though. Want some tomatoes? ;)

    So you've cheated too?

Haven't started the gardening yet. Another day in paradise. I've just been told i've done well with what i've achieved, this week. I haven't had much option. You've got to be kidding.

Ok, off to do some gardening, right now.

No, it was something else entirely. :)

I've done some weeding, but not nearly enough. Want to help?

    Snap, but i've also mowed the l a w n, (thankfully, it only takes 5 mins.) :)

    ADVERT

Working party required to weed two gardens. Free lunch provided - (salad and ginger ice cream.)

Unfortunately as fast as the other things are growing, the weeds are, too. Amazingly, everything i've planted this week, is sprouting. Was it only a coupleof days ago? That was quick. I'm amazed, although i do seem to have a natural talent for certain things, ( even if by default.) There seems to be something in my psyche which nature and animals sense, Unfortunately, it's not always apparent to humans. Its impossible for me to tell as yet, which will be edible :rotfl: as everything is randomly placed on my p a t i o. Even my neighbour must have noticed all my efforts, as they popped their head out of the window today, to comment. That's only the second time we've spoken in what, four months? What is going to happen to my poor plants? They need watering everyday, at the moment. Just had a thought, even my orchids are still thriving, ooooo shhhhh :shhh::shhh:

You'll be the first to know when i spy a pepper seedling :rotfl:

    Dya know what?

You realise you're living in a different world, when the ice cream van turns up everyday, rain or shine, and always has an orderly queue of wrinklies :rotfl:

Thats right, there's no children around here. :D

I suppose i have become almost childlike, in my coping abilities. In fact, a child could probably cope better than me. Its been said i've done well with what i've achieved this week. What, losing my bank accounts and all the palava which has ensued because of it? It is indeed back to basics, now. The next step is no accounts at all. Even the things i've been trying to pay, have been suspended, this week. Such a mess. I also received details of my phlebs account yesterday, although i can't use it yet, at least i'll be able to have my benefit paid in. Benefits. W* is apparently still going to appeal that i'm not receiving the correct benefits. Which would reduce the amount of debt i have with the rent.

Its been just as stressful being off work, as it is, being at work. Everyone says mine is a complicated case. I've been offered some work, yet again, around the time my sick note ends. Do i throw in the towel and return to work even though i know i'm not fit enough? Which then puts the pressure on me to earn an amount i can't possibly achieve, to service my living costs and debt repayments? I look at some of my work colleagues these days, and think to myself, is this really the way to live? Going from one job to another just to earn as much money as you can, whilst you can, and collapsing into bed, with what quality of life? Its dog eat dog. And hmrc are still going to be taking so much of my pay which i don't need to pay, in tax, especially now the threshold has increased. You've got to wonder the incentive to go to work, when you are on a low income. I suppose the job will always be there next time round? I suppose i've almost made it to the end of this week.Thats an achievement in itself, isn't it. I need a weekend of escapism from the real world. I should be grateful for the * i have. At least they do understand without judgement. They told me at one point, they had been in the place i'm in. But i knew that already, without them telling me. I just need to get away from everything, including myself.

As so often, I'm not sure I've got the hang of everything: bank accounts were suspended because pdl people got into them? Therefore payments messed up.

I think you're right not to try work yet - you've done that and this is where it lead, and no one could have tried harder. It's not viable in this economic climate. You will however have plenty to offer something different at some point, just not yet.

By the way, you've developed a new asterix. I don't think I've met it before but it sounds okay. :) Good to have someone who has been there and come through. I won't mention the 'h' word but it does indicate there is some.

How are the seedlings and what happened to the sunflower? No, I didn't buy 99 tomatoes, though I saw some I liked the look of. I have a few perennial sweet peas sprouting now: I saw them for sale at £2.99 each so I'm glad mine are grown from seed.
