Sorry I've not been around this evening - keep losing computer to DS2. How has today been? Apart from sweltering... I know you don't like heat.

Got my benefit from my account, such as the benefit is. Received a letter re my rent arrears. It risen again. I wish they would make their minds up. Its a different amount everytime i speak to them. I wish i had the energy to sit down and work out how much i actually owe, but its so difficult to work out. On the present amount, it will be 5 - 6 years, before i've paid the rent arrears, with a threat of eviction at any time. I don't understand why its risen when they've added two rent free weeks. Surely it should have gone down in that case? Maybe its just me that's thick. I'm such a waste of space.

You're never a waste of space. Since when has anyone's worth been about money? I give you official permission not to look at the letter for a while. Water the seeds and get yourself something to eat that's not salad, those things are more important for now. Councils make mistakes - we know that - maybe this is another of them but when did they ever sort anything out on a Friday? So it's okay to put it aside and tend to the garden.

Still on the salad kick, i'm afraid. Still resisting the urge to try one of those peppers, i shouldn't have bought. They are still flourishing. Ah, got a bag of 8 bananas for 25p today. I could turn into a monkey, in place of the mpt.

The whole scenario of being seriously under threat of eviction over a prolonged period of time, i find unnerving. I haven't unpacked yet, and i see no point, whatsoever. Should i return to work, even though i can't, and end up in the same financial mess. Talking of financial mess, i've just received a cheque for £53 from hmrc. I hope that wasn't the sum total of my tax rebate? No covering letter, no explanation, nothing. Am i expected to be a mindreader? Just a bloody cheque.

Maybe the stress has gone so far, i cannot make attachments with anything anymore. I can now drive past my former home, without batting an eyelid. Although before i moved in here, i was so pleased, i really saw it as a place that might be enjoyable to live, i no longer have the ability to form an attachment to it. Or people for that matter.

Mmm, bananas. Shall I make some banana bread (assuming the repair to the oven door allows me access)?

£53? Can you cash it? Someone probably has the letter on their desk and is wondering where to put it.

Can £1 of it go to rent arrears? To show willing? And didn't you say your house had been difficult to rent, in which case they may not prioritise it? I don't think you've ever really committed to this house, but you need a roof and you have the garden.

Offer of banana bread still stands. :)

This place is perfect, it just, too, has so many bad associations with it, now. And lets face it, i stand no chance of getting anywhere else.

I've already paid my rent arrears payment this week. I have to pay £3.50 a week from now to eternity.

Got a whole mountain of post today. More p60's, ( bit late aren't you?), three separate bills / demands from water supplier, one of which says i owe £110. Remarkably i'm not currently in arrears with water rates, ( maybe i should be, as its not a priority debt?) , a letter from the bank saying i've failed to bring my balance into credit, ( how many times do they have to be told?) and a letter from *** saying i should find an alternative place to park my car. Jeez, how did i manage to get myself into this mess? Baliffs will be a knocking, soon.

I'm now maxxed out on stress, and your message made me cry, ( even more,) miggy xx

I've already moved ani to a different place, but maybe the time has come, to think of somewhere a bit further away, which means ani is open to vandalism. What the heck does it matter, anyway? Wouldn't it be nice, just to lead a normal life?

Darn it, I can't even send you tissues. *sniff, sniff*

Move Ani for a few hours then back to somewhere subtly different, maybe?

Ah, caught you out there. It isn't my diary you've been reading, is it?

A few days ago i cheated, ( yes, cheated,) i saw some pepper plants in full bloom, and the rest is history, given i realised i was a bit late off the mark. So i now have almost two dozen peppers almost ready for eating. Those plants are getting treatment fit for a queen. Want my address?
