Hey Ani, nice to hear you've been out for a sail, even if it didn't feel quite how you expected perahps that's not a bad thing to have a big adrenalin up followed by the big dip after - perhaps just a feeling of 'that was quite enjoyable and I fancy going back'is what you need right now.

Unfortunately, it wasn't even a case of that was quite enjoyable and i fancy going back. I don't know why i arranged to go back, as i probably won't.
Glad to hear the garden is going well, I must've caught the bug as I went to the big orange DIY store today to buy paint (garden furniture needs repainting and I thought it more MSE and better for the landfill to repaint what we have rather than replace).... well I got paint but also seemed to come out with plants and compost - guess I know what I'll be doing tomorrow :o
Hmmm the big orange store isn't the best ( or cheapest) place to buy plants and compost, but i guess it depends where you live?
I'd offer you some banana loaf as well, which I was planning to make tomorrow - except I've realised I ate the eggs I had left for dinner last night :doh:Sorry, I know I'm rambling on your thread - just popped in to give you a hug and pass you the watering can xx
    You're welcome xx

    Ani, your inbox is full.

    Pot? Kettle? :rotfl:
I just popped in to say: when we first 'met' you, you had been ill. I wondered whether any of the charities that support people with your condition could either help financially or appeal on your behalf?

I'm working tomorrow evening but I will try to get on line earlier in the day.

    Take care.

    {{{hugs}}}
I think there is only so much charities can do.

    Don't work too hard xx

Its a perfect day today. Must water the plants in this heat.

Running on from the whole charities thing, i've enquired about offering MY support to a charity. Its not going to work out, right now, sadly. It would appear, like everything these days, a charity is still a business, and as such treats its volunteers as it would its workforce, ( of which it has few.) Don't charities rely on volunteers, these days? Of course they do. Anyway, as i am unable to commit to returning to paid employment, this also means i cannot commit to unpaid employment. I simply can't commit to turning up at 9.00 am on monday morning, or a set time or day in the week. Its beyond me. I thought this was supposed to be flexible? On your bike.

I forgot to mention. I found a nest in my bird table thingy, last week. I've checked and there are some eggs, but i've not seen the resident since. I suspect its blackbirds, although i'm not sure.

Just listening to Brahms 2nd piano concerto. Dug my cd out last night. The second movement seems to be getting considerable airplay at the moment It emotionally, is me, at the moment. Listen, if you ever get chance, miggy x Its one of those lesser known pc's which i think is one of the greatest ever written, ( but then i'm a huge fan of all things Brahms.)

ps I lestened to Mozart requiem the other evening, sat looking at the scenery, was something else again. xx

    :o:o:o

Brahms and Mozart - now I have to say that's very good taste even if it makes me think of Brahms and Liszt (who I can't spell).

I will try to listen tonight or if I can't get the computer then, maybe tomorrow.

This seems to be the way it goes nowadays. Charities, not nests. Could they accept your help on a one-off basis as in 'I will be free next Saturday afternoon if you can use my help for two hours?'

Did I mention I found a blackbird nesting in a horseshoe on Mum's back door last time I was there? Hopefully by now the fledglings are fledging and will soon be independent. It was an ingenious place but I couldn't get a photo as there was creeper blowing across.
