Well done on the walking Ani, sorry I haven't been about for a couple of days (little crisis of my own but very minor compared to what you cope with on a daily basis)

Just wanted to drop you in a mug of EG :coffee: and a big hug xxx

    I hope you are ok?

I can share some of my crises, if you like? What IS the plural?

Well, there's no wonder that ml has a big grin on his face. That's an obscene amount of money. Guess his days of worrying about finding £3 for the launderette, are over? :rotfl: Different world, innit?

Another of those days were talking is done, tears are shed, and nothing is resolved.

On the plus side, i've almost finished the weeding. The gravel part in the rear garden, being the one i've been putting off, but it looks so much better now. Its almost finished. Time to start all over again, as the front now needs weeding, again. B*y hard work, this gardening malarkey. I've had a " relapse" this week. I bought some more plants, ( oh dear, ) but at least its a relatively cheap way of relieving, well you know. Taking your mind off it, and all that. Also found 4 more packets of sweet pea seeds, ( i just knew there were some more,) right in front of my nose, literally. Think i'll just sow those straight in the ground. I've had enough. I've got dozens of pots of seedlings, none of which i can identify, because i was too tight, sorry, skint, to buy labels. However, they are in a hurry to enter this world. Its never ceases to amaze me the resolve of things or people's dedication to being.

That's the plan of action, for now. Taking my mind off it. Which means doing anything. Anything at all. But not that.

Tomorrow i may drown myself, which i'm not looking forward to, but i've decided to go, anyway. If i don't suceed in drowning myself, tomorrow, i'm up for a second try, next weekend. Actually, thinking about it, this means i've got stuff planned. Thats a first, as i'm going on a dry stone walling day, too. God knows how, but there we go. All free, you understand. Dry stone walling is something i've intended to learn for years. May as well take the opportunity, and put to some use. I've also asked my gp to refer me for some free excercise. Got to get out of this place, in more ways than one.

Labels are a waste of time - at least the way I do them. The ink fades till it's unreadable. Mystery seedlings are fun - are you sure there are no giant redwoods in there? No venus fly traps? No monkey puzzles or Rafflesia arnoldii or oilseed rape?

Enjoy the drowning, if I may put it like that. :) Someone's got to keep the lifeguards in business.

(Do you know, there was a younger version of me once who didn't have a dark sense of humour. I wonder what happened?)

I can absolutely see you dry stone walling, which is odd as I have not the faintest idea what you look like. I think you'll be very good at it, and if you are, please could you tell me a few tips because I need to patch up Mum's garden wall? :)

I have no idea what you're talking about. I had no idea there were so many varieties of wagon wheels. It was you who said that.

:D Er...is any of that cake going spare? :D

Got a " nice " surprise in the form of a small cheque through the post today, which means i did have my free day out, and i thought it had been a con. Also received a letter re my other benefit. They still haven't made a decision. I suppose this is good news, since it's not a no. I'm told it will increase my entitlement to hb, ( and also give me a back payment of 3 months.) For that matter, remove all my debt? One should live in hope? Gosh, an extra £49 a week would mean i could actually afford to eat, and a cooker would mean i could cook food.

Can you imagine? No debt. No fear of eviction. A useable kitchen fit for purpose? Money to budget. Money to, well i won't say live, but survive. Don't even go down that road. No, don't go down that road yet. Could only lead to disappointment.

Although i've put nt membership on the back burner, as i simply can't afford it, i can't help feeling it's going to contribute something to my life.

It's surprising what can contribute to your life.
