Of course. So many times the highs and lows alternate, I hope a 'high' comes along soon.

Unfortunately the lows are becoming more frequent and more difficult to control at the moment

Didn't you say there's a benefit being reviewed? Even if that ends up going on hb, at least they are still seeing about getting you more money. And you never know, some of it may actually comes to you.
Yes, thats the letter i received yesterday, saying they still haven't made a decision, 3 months into the claim. Its not being reviewed, it hasn't been awarded yet. They can't take this benefit off me, and it increases my entitlement to hb.

I think i should become a benefits advisor / tax advisor / social worker / rights worker, at the end of all this. I think i've now accumulated more knowledge than the average person, although i still fail to understand how they can see THEIR way round the system to cut my benefits. Thats a battle i'll let someone else fight on my behalf.
You must be very tired... sorry to hear you were awake so long overnight then up again in the morning (did you go to sleep at all?)
    Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

It's one of those periods when i'm sleeping less well. Doesn't really matter if i sleep or not, tbh

An early night for me. Having said that, the final of the a is on tonight. Best watch tv whilst i still can.
That gas bill... could they be basing it on the previous person's usage?
I wondered that. Not beyond the realms of possibilty.

Hope you are enjoying your weekend xx

    And snow-white turtle doves

I'd like to teach the world to plod

I'd like to hold it in my arms
    And keep it company
    (That's the song I hear)
I'd like to see the world for once
    (Let the world sing today)
    All standing hand in hand
And hear them echo through the hills
    For peace throughout the land
    That's the song I hear
    (That's the song I hear)
    Let the world sing today
(Let the whole wide world keep singing)
A song of peace that echoes on
    And never goes away

:( It certainly seems a marked cycle and a short one too.
Yes, thats the letter i received yesterday, saying they still haven't made a decision, 3 months into the claim. Its not being reviewed, it hasn't been awarded yet. They can't take this benefit off me, and it increases my entitlement to hb.

You would think they had some maximum time within which to decide. I guess if it's something they can't take off you, they are going to be very careful about awarding it. Hope you get it - mwah-ha-ha-ha! (That was my evil laugh directed at 'them' once you finally get something they can't snatch back).
I think i should become a benefits advisor / tax advisor / social worker / rights worker, at the end of all this. It would seem to be a natural progression from self-employed Tax Inspector and Roller coaster maintenance person, wouldn't it? (Remember them? Seems a long time ago for some reason).

It's one of those periods when i'm sleeping less well. Doesn't really matter if i sleep or not, tbh

And there I beg to contradict you. Things are worse when you're tired. Well, they're worse when I'm tired, and I doubt I'm the exception.

Gas bill - may be worth enquiring about whether the previous person had exceptional usage?

Crikey, it's midnight -already. I'm going to mooch round the car boot sale tomorrow, if I'm up in time and if it's not too wintery. I am not making any promises about not buying plants. ;)

ani, sorry to post and run, but trying to sort something out in real life too.

who is your gas with? if it is b**y br&tis& g&s, then they are ripping you off, as they tend to put people on highest tarrifs and even lowest tarrifs are higher than other companies
