Just reread your post kerri. They won't let me pay monthly, so i can't average the bill across the year, iyswim.

Ani, that monthly amount is calcualted over my last 4 qrtly bills (ok, I'm a spreadsheet obsessive on the quite but don't tell anyone ;)). We are on cheapest tarrif for us but even so compared to yours it seems a big diff. Me off to bed now...and you do the same, it's an order - else is camomile tea for us both and I don't know if I like that  xx

How did the rain dance go?

I think bearing all the above in mind, today's a good day for a walk?

Got to dash but {{{Hugs}}} and once brain is in gear will try to get my head round some of this (as you know, Maths not my strong point).

I'm supposed to be having a free dayish? out. I really don't feel like it, but will it bring some semblance of normality to my life.

Its only after finding something which might bring the sense of something back into my life, ( along with the f 's word,) which made me sit down and actually evaluate why the money is disappearing so quickly now, (aside form the occasional blip of plant buying.)

I had to pay for a cup of tea yesterday. Only 50p. Only 50p. Every 50p has to be justified. Its a world i don't belong to. £10's of k's worth of mercedes knocking about, and i can't afford 50p for a cup of tea. I'm not a human being.

75p a week would give me social life, entertainment, fresh air, exercise, a sense of self worth? What else? Achievement?

In real terms, all i'm paying are my bills. Only just. I rarely go out in ani. I'm living off salady stuff i buy for 10p, ( well past its best,) I've stopped bathing everday to cut down on gas usage, and for that matter, i'm using cold water. I'm trying to monitor the meter usage.

It's only when i seriously sit down and account for for everything, i realise it just isn't possible. Then it sends me to the state which is described as feeling low. The state which most people admit, they have no idea of that feeling experience. Why don't we just use the * word.

Oh Ani, i just don't always know what to say. It can't be good you not having any kind of hot meal - I know you're adverse to looking to charity help but is there a Salvation Army near you? I know our local one used to do hot dinners on a Sunday, not just for the elderly but for those who were financially stretched as well. I know of two young guys who always used to go down for their dinner there. It's just a thought and prob one you'll look at me in horror for mentioning :o

I know you don't have a cooker but do you have any means of cooking at all in your house? (besides a camp fire in that beautiful garden of yours :))

I know there wasn't one near you before, but could be worth checking again if there's any local food banks who might be able to lend you a hand?

i realise this comes back to the old addage of asking for a hand which we all find hard, but if I knew where you lived I'd bloomin well be sending you a parcel myself xx

ps think yourrain dance worked...its p*ssing it down here...cheers ani :p

Of course. So many times the highs and lows alternate, I hope a 'high' comes along soon. Didn't you say there's a benefit being reviewed? Even if that ends up going on hb, at least they are still seeing about getting you more money. And you never know, some of it may actually comes to you.

You must be very tired... sorry to hear you were awake so long overnight then up again in the morning (did you go to sleep at all?)

That gas bill... could they be basing it on the previous person's usage?

Kerri, I think Ani has a microwave. That was a lovely message you sent.

I like the idea of being able to go somewhere once a week for a hot meal. Mmmmm roast beef and yorkshire pudding. Even better, roast lamb and yorkshire pud. Yorkshire pudding with onion gravy............
I think i could potentially look into this one x

Want to come and try, today? ( the camp fire, that is ) :D

Its a generous thought, but wait until i get a cooker?

    Thanks, takes a bow......................

I have to hold my hands up. I p*d myself laughing at your quote. :D
Although it wasn't exactly my intention, ( as you know i talk in riddles, ) there are many people in the universe who may not be thanking me today. :)
