Ahhh, thanks guys *blushes* I just write what i think (though thankfully there's a delete button :rotfl:) I'm carp at taking compliments (prob some traumatic childhood experience etc etc yardy yardy...) but it means a lot coming from you guys xx

Its me who blushes now. I'm just an ordinary phleb? :o
Ani, offer stands for the food box, even if it's microwave cooking I can put in the 1980's recipie book my mum has...came with our first microwave and should be titled 'how to cook anything in a microwave' ...beleive me, that's not always a good thing
Thats sounding too tempting. I could make very good use of a micowave cookbook. I've tried and failed, to cook various things in the microwave :o and all but given up.
and any chance you might do that rain dance in reverse please? my garden is watered enough now, much more and I might find ducks in the morning :D

    Done :D

It would seem to be a natural progression from self-employed Tax Inspector and Roller coaster maintenance person, wouldn't it? (Remember them? Seems a long time ago for some reason).

Gas bill - may be worth enquiring about whether the previous person had exceptional usage?
It just seems less stressful to wait for the next bill and compare?

Crikey, it's midnight -already. I'm going to mooch round the car boot sale tomorrow, if I'm up in time and if it's not too wintery. I am not making any promises about not buying plants. ;)
Enjoy your day and make sure you buy lots of plants :rotfl:

ani, sorry to post and run, but trying to sort something out in real life too.

who is your gas with? if it is b**y br&tis& g&s, then they are ripping you off, as they tend to put people on highest tarrifs and even lowest tarrifs are higher than other companies

No, its not bg, but similar. Unfortunately i don't have the luxury of being able to change suppliers, although i have one in mind. Maybe i should try before i get the dro.

Gosh, all these offers of food parcels are overwhelming. Truly. And yes. I think i will start accepting them, ( things must be bad.)

I used to live the other side of the bridge in my student days. We used to walk up there to a pub and watch the world go by. :D xxxx

Have a good day Ani. Thanks for the backwards rain dance, seems to have finally stopped ...now, if you could whip up a little sun too that would be fab :D

If there's anything you need to know how to microwave, give me a shout - i can't say I recommned salad leaves, but saying that I don't recommend some of the things my mum used to do to (no offence mummy, but mushrooms? honestly, should always be fried or grilled not microwaved )

gotta run, carp nights sleep and supposed to be going out this afternoon, if is bad of me to consider cancelling?
