Spammer gone ani.
And stop showing off with your multiquoting0 -
Ok, must try and sort my rent out, firstly. Haven't managed to stop my benefits hitting my bank account which is now closed, so have to travel to bank tomorrow, to grovel again. Its going to be another month at least before the dro is put in place. I'm trying not to think about it. Because if you do, its shocking i haven't managed to pay off my debts, twice. What must people think of me?
Must finish the potting etc today. Should i set targets? but pressure to achieve isn't necessarily the answer. I still have it in mind that one day this week i want to go up on the edge and get totally obliterated, and its something i have to do, ( although i'm not ususally in the habit of doing this) I just want to sit there in the sunshine and be totally oblivious to it all. Block it all out. Yep, that is definitely on the agenda for this week.
In the meantime i've been to one or two community things, and although its a start so " going out ", maybe its not for me. What is the point in doing things i DON'T have an interest in, and maybe becoming old before my time? Thats not to diiss other people, but. There's an open day at the sailing club soon. Thats much more me. Unfortunately, moneywise, it isn't. I've already missed one open day. There's a choice of three sailing clubs around here, ( in varying degrees of expense.) I'm going to go to the open day, anyway, just to suss it out. Do you have concessions for those on benefits? Doesn't look like they do. They will probably look down their noses at me. Anyway, today i will make an effort to ring all three. Surely they won't turn away someone who has the time and " want " to help with working parties. Its a start. They would be foolish, if they do.Debt free - Is it a state of mind? a state of the Universe? or a state of the bank account?

Woohoo, first sailing club has just rung me back, and is willing to consider membership for phlebs. I don't know why i'm considering it, because i am a phleb, and i don't have the physical capabilities, right now. Right, no food, ( except salads,)
no gas and no electric. No tv? Have to see what they offer. I suppose it helps i already have some powerboating and yachting quals. It shows a level of interest. YAY Mind you, we're talking about basic sailing, here. And wonderful scenery. Sounds really cool.
After almost 7 hours at the office, oops, in the garden today, i have finally planted / potted everything. Thank god. How come that escalated so much? I now have a patio, hanging baskets, troughs, and a garden full of " stuff ". So much stuff, i've forgotten what i've already planted, and i didn't realise the delphiniums which were destroyed in the storm, i resuscitated to great effect. They are now growing and in full bloom. My only concern is i could do with a greenhouse or shed to house everything overnight. I'm not bringing it all back in the house again. I'm sick of seeing it all. All it needs is a night of frost, or one of those winds. Its like a wind tube, out back. On the other hand, its south facing, and a suntrap for growing.
I now have the perfect garden and patio for a barby. Barby anyone? I'll provide the salad, ( maybe, ) but you'll have to bring the meat and bbq
I just thought. I never had a house warming. Whats one of those?Debt free - Is it a state of mind? a state of the Universe? or a state of the bank account?

:j:j:j to the sailing club! And :T:T:T to all the gardening. (Don't imagine it's finished, though: you can never finish a garden :rotfl:).
Barby sounds great: I'll bring sausages - got to get some protein into you to get you ready for the life on the ocean wave.
If your library has 'Food for Free' (Richard Mabey) you may find there's free 'salad' around now that everything's growing so much. I'm sure half my garden is edible... would that let me off the weeding?
Wind trap... ours used to be one of those though over the years neighbours have put up higher fences so it's not so bad. I recommend planting trees (if the garden's long enough and they won't get into the drains) or even keep a lookout for bamboo, which grows like the wind and makes a wind break. If you need holly or birch, I have them.
I doubt we'll get a frost in the near future so you may be all right for now.Miggy

Cor, thats a double edged sword isn't it? I shouldn't be thinking about this, but in one breath hmrc says i'm employed, because i have to travel to work, ( doesn't everyone?) albeit a different location everyday, in the other breath i can claim mileage to work as expenses but not in the form of tax relief. Barmpots.
Now i'm getting wound up. The system will always beat you.
And to that end, the system has beaten me regarding sickness benefits, beanie, as ultimately hmrc then turns round and decides to class me as self employed for benefits purposes, which means i receive less benefits than i'm entitled to, i.e. my would be hb and ctb paid, along with my esa.
Which now means i'm in hundreds of £££'s of rent arrears which won't go into the dro.
Looking on the bright side, i will have repaid what will be my only debt, ( rent arrears, ) in the next 3 to 4 years, on current income, leaving me with the threat of eviction, at any time.
