Good news about the sailing club ani...having an interest like that makes such a big difference to your motivation and self esteem.:j:j
Your garden sounds lovely...the gardens are really taking off now. I have bluebells, whitebells and forget-me-nots lining my garden paths and the fragrance is gorgeous. You are lucky that you have the opportunity to be outside rather than tied to an office....just enjoy the moment.
Thanks for the hug. I am feeling better by the day.

You reckon? I can't even think anymore
It probably would do, a) if realistically i could afford it, and b) if i had the physical and mental capabilities.

Sigh..................
Thats the way it is today. Maybe i did too much in the garden, yesterday. Thats sad, isn't it? How come it took so long? and how does the time pass so quickly? I should be bored by now.
It was good of someone to say they would actually make an effort for a stranger, and ask the committe to consider. I still probably won't be able to afford it, unless i can get my head around reclaiming my mileage.I don't actually care. Its too much stress. I'm trying to avoid stress, but it still keeps to seem winging my way. But i'm willing to invest my time, in return. Time is something i have, isn't it. For now. Time is free. I never had the time when i was working. Or latterly, the funds, for that matter.
*** gone into my bank account. Now have to pay to go into town and grovel at the bank, to reclaim my benefit. Thats todays task then, and maybe do a spot of weeding, and yes, go for a walk this evening. Might as well do something that's me. They are never going to manage 10 miles in a evening are they? Thank god.
I still can't actually " deal " with life, as the slightest thing tips me over the edge. I still don't have the mental and physical capabilities. Its so frustrating. Hiw can people understand?Debt free - Is it a state of mind? a state of the Universe? or a state of the bank account?

Wrote a post and scrapped it - to summarise, could you set aside a short period of time say every other day to work towards the mileage claim? Set the timer on your phone and when it goes off, pack things away for the time being. think of it as working towards sailing, not as mileage that inevitably has negative associations (easier said than done I know).
I know something of what it's like to lose the mental ability to deal with something - it still happens to me to some extent, but it's coming back. It's like any sort of physical damage: it takes a while to heal.
Being able to see your situation objectively is good sign, I think.
Molly, what a lovely post! You're a star.:T
