Its even worse, staying awake on night shifts, how do you do it? I can't :rotfl:

Guess what? I received one of those things through the post today. You know? The things shaped like chequebooks, as you get with a ' normal ' bank account.

Of course, it was a paying in book, for my savings account, they were so keen to impart on me :rotfl: Shame the savings account has now been depleted from £10 to £1. Ah well. One day? I'm just waiting for them to contact me to say they'll have to close it, as its got to have a minimum balance of £10 :rotfl:

ah you could follow my lead... and collect roadkill.

and not furry animals either... I mean money dropped by people who can't be bothered to pick it up or not realised they have dropped it.

And once you get a nice haul - 5p.... :rotfl: you deposit in the savings account with the new cheque book style paying in book :D

    that's what I am doing.

oh by the way... anyone got any records stashed?

Oh, it sounds good! However, the training is a refresher for a medical situation I might come across at work and I really can't miss it... just hope I remember it all, that's the trouble with things that haven't happened for a while so I haven't had the chance to practise.

As for boring meetings... Ani I could do with a G & T even if it's a virtual one!

Aesop, you are in danger of becoming one of my heroes! JK Rowling and Snoopy will have to move over a bit.

My work texted me at 20 to 11 one night lastweek to say I had a meeting at 9 the next morning. To make it worse I didn't get the text till gone 1am. This morning I had a text to say there's a training session at 8am tomorrow (supposed not to be working tomorrow, haha). I would so love to take a leaf out of your book! :rotfl:

I'm a bit of a rarity because i've never read any of the Harry Potter books, or seen any of the films (plural )? Just not my bag, maybe?

I'm always amazed by the people, to whom 1p means so little :rotfl:

Was that me that just picked it up. Of course it was, ( depending on its surroundings ) :D

I've had to spend my £2 coins i was saving, and as far as i'm concerned, that means seagulls. I'm so disappointed, but i've kept a mental record of how much i had, and i'm hoping to reimburse my pot, at some point. Thats why i have'nt been on that thread, either.

Yup, i think i already mentioned previously in my diary :silenced: although i don't think its quite the copy i thought it was. But i've been able to find little information about it, and as far as i'm aware, you're not going to get a huge amount, anyway. But its more of a historical, record / historical recording, and i'm not sure i would ever sell it.

Still, i suppose its of no use to me, if i can't play it.

Sorry miggy. My computer techniques don't stretch to virtual images, but ice and a slice? ( got to be lime )!

Interesting article Aesop, but no one ever mentions or knows about my record. I've tried rare record shops, and they have'nt a clue what i'm talking about. Maybe i should go to the city council, one day. I'm sure i was musing over that before, in my diary. I'm still fairly sure its not worth anything. On the other hand, its at least as old as me, and if its an original copy, its 84 years old.
