That's odd, Ani. I wonder if the people themselves deleted the comments, or, if someone complained about them, it mods deleted them?
Alternatively, could it be one of those blips that t'internet comes up with? As in, I knew someone who wrote an email that disappeared for months and was later delivered... but we never worked out where it went in the interim!

No, my comments have disappeared too, as i remember i could'nt understand what was going on. I can also vaguely remember my replies, as with the comments made, and the posters who made the comments. Its amazing how some people have the power to manipulate others perceptions. I still don't understand the motives behind it. Maybe some people are so insecure they have'nt actually dealt with their own failures. But, at least i am trying to deal with mine, even though it might not seem like it, and as i've said all along, you can't just turn a lightswitch on and off. Its not as easy as that. I wish it were.

But i've realised i am right when i've always said, there is more to friendship, than superficiality. Empty words, mean nothing, and although my trust has taken a knockback, today is another day, is'nt it?

Weatherwise, it is another beautiful day. Another bank holiday. If i had a proper job, i would have been able to take 3 days holiday, and in effect, had an 11 day holiday, paid leave. Ah well. I never take holidays when everyone else is, anyway, so what difference does it make? Only that at the back of your mind you still feel you are missing something that everyone else, has.

So i should get off the tinternet, because its another beautiful day, a day when you should be out in the fresh air, not in front of a computer. I must go early to work, and use the opportunity to have a gander, before i start. I missed the big event yesterday, and had no idea what i'd missed, and by the time i'd finished work, it had gone to bed. Its probably got up, early this morning. Never mind, go and pretend i have a place in soceity, even though i feel tired and drained.

Heyup, Osama bin Laden is dead? is it propaganda? as is Henry Cooper. I remember watching Henry Cooper. Somehow his passing will be overshadowed, today

Are you thinking of someone in particular kerri?

No no, I wasn't thinking of somone in particualr at all - and I forgot Ani also said some of her posts had disppeared - there must be somewhere all our lost posts, uploads and emails disappear to...perhaps one day we'll find out were...

Final words on the subject, as now I cannot be bothered with it all.

yes, someone has reported posts to abuse and they have been deleted. I know it must be abuse as posts I have made have also been deleted.

    C'est la vie.

Have a good bank holiday Monday everyone. Lurkers and all.

no chance of that! It is a virtual world, with a virtual reality, and people sitting in front of computer screens, writing what they want, when they want. With the virtual world, things can disappear into the ether and you will never find them, like a BIG BLACK HOLE.

i'm sure there's a story line for Doctor Who in there somewhere :D

Speaking of which, I must get back to my very real pile of ironing and try to reduce it to something more like Snowdon than Everest :)

I was just reading the banner at the top of the dfw diary board. Maybe people never read it. Ironically it says do no berate or judge, and this forum has the power to move Martin to tears. Well. It certainly has the power to do that. But i'm not quite sure, its in the way Martin intended.

kerri gt, i hope you finished your ironing xx

It was a beautiful day weatherwise, but i've felt tired today, and words can't describe how i feel, as i could'nt sleep last night. I should'nt let others, upset me.I have enough to cope with. No one has walked in my shoes, so no one knows how uncomfortable they are.

At least i achieved my one goal today, and managed to catch it in motion. I never realised, before. How thick, am i? But even the impressive sight, did'nt move me in any way, even though most people spend most of their life, saying one day i will go to **.

Thanks Ani, I did manage to get it all done, though more washing on so it will be piling up again soon - not quite sure how two people manage to make so much washing. Did manage to have a slight alteraction with the iron where I came of worse and have a nice red welt across my inner arm now - ouch is all I can say, housework is indeed a dangerous pass-time ;) still, it's not that bad and should heal ok.

Sorry to hear you didn't sleep well last night ani, easier said than done but try not to let people with less helpful things to say get to you. As you say, no one has walked in your shoes. We live in a democracy (apparently) with the right of freedom so speech - so say what you won't and if some people don't like it ...will a big fat :p to them ;) xx

ouch Kerri! Hope your arm is ok.

I have a hate relationship with my oven. It hates me! As I type I am looking at my arm and wrist, where I have 3 burns across them, from the shelf in the oven. It happened when I was trying to pull something out from the bottom shelf and my arm hit the top shelf instead. And the problem with burn marks - they heal but you can still see remnants of them. I know bio oil makes the scar heal... but am no good at looking after myself like that.

ani, hope you sleep better tonight. You need to get some rest, you know that.

I may have said this before but am not going to bother looking to see if I have, as it may well have been deleted.

Have you ever read "The Tenant of Wildfell Hall" ? I always remember this book, not because it was stimulating and I enjoyed it.... but because whenever they wrote about a particular name or place that could be identified, instead of writing it,they would put Mr A____
and B______ I just found it so funny, as with some of it, I thought you could work out what the places were.

anyway the reason I mention it? You remind me of it whenever you post anything like most people say they want to see **.

I had to read the book for my English Literature O Level. Must have read it well got an A.

Ditto. I hope your arm is ok, too, kerri xx Personally, i rarely iron, these days. Its simply not required. The only things i iron, are my work suits. Managed to move into the 20th century there, then!

I'm shocked you two have posted on here. You do realise its not good form to post on this thread, and i don't want you to be targeted the same way that i have been, looking back, probably from the moment i started my diary. I still have'nt worked out why. I'm also shocked to realise its 8 months since i started my diary. No wonder people say i'm attention seeking But of course, i'm not .On the other hand, how long is a diary supposed to last? Is there a time limit on them? Have others kept kept diaries on here for a substantial length of time ? But its still a long time, in which i can honestly say, very little has changed. On the other hand, its only a couple of months since i was discharged from br, and four months since the house was finally repossessed. Talking of houses, the house is no longer advertised with the agent, so it would'nt surprise me if the young couple have moved in over this long holiday. At least i've managed to move on from some things, by blanking them, even if in the real world, i don't earn enough money to survive. Which led me to think about an advert for a job, which is permanently advertised, locally. Everyone keeps saying get a proper job. So do i apply? £30,000 pa. Working for a debt managemant company. You can see they are all young kids who work there. Could you really work in that environment? Knowing what i've been through, and many people on this site are going through, ( thats if what they, too, say, is genuine ). Hmmm. It does'nt tempt me at all. Not even the £30,000 a year. Because i know its all pie in the sky.

I don't even see why i should justify myself. Yes everything i've said is true, and anyone who says they can help me, is welcome to come and help me with all the mounds of paperwork i still have, here. Its all here. I've still got some letters from DCA's, my bankruptcy order, my bankruptcy discharge, my repossession order, the court date letter, the letters from my gp, clinics and hospital re the C, letters from the charity who paid for my br, letters from the cab, letters from the council, and benefits agency re housing homelessness, housing benefit, esa, correspondence from hmrc re tax, ni, all documents related to work, mounds of paperwork,( and my lack of income), gosh i really should be employed. Is there anything i've missed. Probably. Any REAL person there sat behind a computer screen, willing to take on a challenge? I suspect not.

Aesop, i have'nt read the book! Thats so funny. As Martin says, too. The site gives you anonymity. Is this a good thing or a bad thing? But its rather an iconic place i've been working at, and lets be fair, how many people here say where they work? I guess impressive though ,considering i've seen it, probably hundreds of times, from various aspects. There we go. Shall we have a quiz?

Aesop, you've changed your avatar. I've struggled to read what it says. Ah. i've just managed to read it. LOL

Kerri, do you know what happened to Lucy? Maybe she got her man? Have you bought a hat? I still keep wondering what has happened to her.

Its strange, when you think i post almost exclusively in my diary, now, as i'm too frightened to post anywhere else, even with constructive comments. The powers of the internet, eh? modern life?
