Yay to test results being OK :T:T:T

Pah, grrrr and anything else you can think of re non payment. I know that you are self employed but do you have a contact with these people or a PO from them that includes terms of payment? I spend my life making people pay on time so if I can be of any help let me know.

    Thanks Maty x

No, i don't have a contract or a PO? with anyone. I don't have a leg to stand on, basically. I've had arguments with hmrc for years, as technically i'm neither s/e nor employed. Just fit into this grey, no mans land :(

I'll check my account again tomorrow, and take it from there. I'll definitely have to get in touch with them again. Its make or break time.

So may be it is time to get it on to a bit more of a formal footing?

At least if they supply a PO to you requesting your services for a period of time (hours/days/weeks whatever) the PO would say what the terms are. You can then request payment of your invoices based on those terms.

Or you issue them with a basic contract for the period of time stating what your terms are and request payment based on these terms.

Either way you have something more formal when chasing payment due to you.

I can help with either of these if you need me to :)

Ugh, i was right. It was horrendous yesterday. Thank goodness thats over. Never even saw what i always look for. Just did'nt have time. Never mind. I need a chill day today, before the onslaught next week. Had the lurgy for over a week now, and it shows no signs of abating. Just can't shake it off.

The reminders this week of my former life, have left me feeling. Well i don't know how. They've just got to me, i suppose. A reminder that however hard you try to move forward, the slightest thing, may rekindle your past, however much you've grown to hate it. The beautiful weather on monday was upsetting, followed by the mist and damp on tuesday, reminded me how it usually is there. But then its what you'd expect. Little things have changed in the few months since i've left. A new conservatory there, shops i never would expect, closed down. Nothing ever stays the same. People i know, been made redundant. The amount of people who have said to me recently, you're lucky to have a job. Yes i am. I'm lucky my work is valued enough , to come out of the other end of having time off through stress etc. It was always a gamble, whether i would be accepted back.I still almost hate my former home, the area i lived, everything about it. Almost. Its a better idea to keep away from that area.

Seeing slimeball has'nt helped either. Blooming heck, on the way to fame and fortune, after a fashion. If thats what floats your boat. Saw * * too. Can't get away from it. Theres always going to be a reminder. People desperate for their own fame and fortune. Without a care or thought for? Just a cog in the wheels of industry, for sure. I wonder if it ever crosses their mind. I doubt it. Everyone is too full of their own self importance, in this selfish world we live in.

Cynicism. How very cynical you are today. No just tired of the lurgy, draining my energy levels. Are'nt you supposed to go through life being positive, positive, positve, and happy, happy, happy? No, its just a facade. Life is'nt like that. Or maybe its just not like that for some. Or maybe life is a pretence for most?

I know i'm getting there. Albeit slowly, but i'm getting there. I've still got very real long term problems, as i don't yet have somewhere i can call home. But i still feel, i'll never have the emotional attachment to anywhere , anything or anyone again. Nothing or no one will have the power to hurt me again. Ever. So theres little point worrying about where i'll live next, until i face the homeless bit again. Which could be sooner. Could be later. I don't particularly care, anymore. Thats probably a dangerous state to be in, as few care about me, either. But whatever, cross that bridge when it needs to be crossed. I've little left, possession wise, so i don't have to worry about that. Just car, i suppose i do have some attachment to, though everyone thinks i'm mad. It is madness, but then i never was one to conform, and theres no one more stubborn than me.

I'm torn between looking to a future and living day to day. Because living day to day, is still the best there is. I still don't see my future. This is'nt going to be resolved by reading this or that book, or seeing this or that head shrink. This is only going to be achieved by continuing living day to day. I never saw myself as such a straight thinking person, before. Maybe i got rid of a load of !!!! out of my head, as well as other areas of my life. I don't need !!!! from anyone or anything. I've a far more laid back attitude to everything than i ever used to have, probably to the annoyance of a fair few people. But if you can't change something, theres no point in getting agitated about it. I mean simple things, like when your stuck in a traffic jam, and the car behind you is try to go right through you, even though you're stationary. I don't get stressed about simple things like that, anymore, in fact i have'nt for some time. Theres some things you can't change, so you might as well take a chill pill. Watching people getting wound up about simple everyday things. They have'nt got 5 minutes to spare. Why not? What is 5 minutes out of anyones life. What is a smile to a complete stranger. Thats something i always do, and i've continued to do throughout recent events. It may not seem like it, but my smiles are genuine, and i'll smile at anyone. You've gone off on a right ramble today. I need a break.

    Hi Maty

Doing a bit of offloading there, i may be some time :)

You've completely lost me, we don't have anything like this in my industry, or maybe you've got me thinking and worried now :rotfl:

Without saying too much about what i do, contracts, PO's :rotfl:

LOL! I never even though of it like that! they are either self employed or employed and as it is a registered industry, they pay tax and ni, etc. so they are paid a lot more regularly than you.
