Life after bankruptcy?

I shoulld'nt be in my diary again. its been one of those days, when i question my very purpose in life again. I'm sinking back down that road, where i can't find the point, anymore. My presence on this planet serves no useful purpose. No one will truly miss me, in all honesty. Are'nt most people frightened of death, but for me , its never held any fear. But maybe you' may end up a tormented spirit. Maybe you would attain peace. I don't truly believe you go to heaven or hell, and i question everything about god and religion. Yet it was so peaceful in the chapel, even in its sad state. There was such a sense
Anyway, i must go to bed. I've got to be up at 4 am, though god knows why. I worked out on the way home, i'm working a 95 hour week, at the moment, and thats not including the hours travelling to, and from work, plus the hours spent working at home. None of this, is serving any purposeDebt free - Is it a state of mind? a state of the Universe? or a state of the bank account?

Oh Ani... 95 hours is crazy.
I so hope you get paid this week, this is really not fair. It sound as though you're doing all the 'right' things in terms of finance, buying wisely and so on. You could probably write a book. Being so tired will contribute to your feeling so low, too.
I can see it's a real catch 22 of a situation - work is taking all your time and petrol is taking a massive chunk of your money, yet you have to work to have any income. I don't know why it is that you have to travel so far (not being nosey - I respect that it's important for you to keep that confidential) and I'm guessing it's not a set-up where you can have your clients come to you. Would there be an option of combining forces with other people in the same type of work so you could trade referrals? i.e. jobs nearer you for you, and nearer the other person for them? I am guessing too that you must be a desirable commodityas you are in demand to this extent.
Thanks for getting back in touch, I was worrying and kept checking for you.
As Beanie says, keep plodding. The journey of a thousand miles, as they say, begins with a single step, and you've made many steps along this post-BR journey already. It's got to get better.
{{hugs}}
P.S. I have a new nickname for you: 'desirable commodity'. I'm sure that would attract a whole other set of followers, LOL!Miggy

Thanks Miggy
I have been pondering how to respond to the last few posts but as I have a brain that is befuddled with cold the right words just would not come out and everytime I started to type I deleted it as it seemed mean spirited
Loving the Desirable Commodity and think we should stick to this title in future, also DC is one of my favourite F1 drivers (now sadly retired but on the commentary team)
So, to our new DC, I know this feels like you are constantly pushing water uphill but one day soon the hill will flatten and the water will become a small, gentle streamWhere in earth did that load of tripe come from :rotfl:

I think the problem is none of us know how to reply. This is a very different situation to most of us, and I suppose Beanie has it right as always. Just plod on. that is all you can do. It's silly isn't it, those of us who want to work and not live off benefits are struggling, and still need some sort of benefit support to just sustain a very basic life!0

I don't know how to reply either, as my brain is befuddled, but with exhaustion. I've been travelling to the big L, every day for what? 2 weeks, or more, and thats taking its toll,too. I know lots of people who complain about travelling a few miles to work, or 10 mins drive to work, and i think to myself, they don't know how lucky they are. I'm travelling hundreds of miles a day, at the moment, and no, i'm not a rep.
I have to say you've made me laugh with your analogy,( is that the right word or spelling )? I can't think straight anymore. I've not stopped working since i came home, and i thought, thats enough now. But you are right. Perfectly stated, its like pushing water uphill, and we all know, thats an impossibility.Debt free - Is it a state of mind? a state of the Universe? or a state of the bank account?
