It's brilliant we're all getting into exercise. I went to my kick boxing last night and it was fabulous. Great way to lose a few calories, tone up and a fantastic stress buster. I'm off to practise a few punches and kicks now....promice I won't get too agressive on here!January budget

morning everyone!
hope its not too late for me to join! from january 2006 - august, i lost 2 and a half stone although i then stayed the same for ages, then gave up and have put about 5 pounds back on! im currently 12 stone exactly, lowest in august being 11.9. in january i was 14.4! im terrified all my hard work will go to waste if i keep putting it back on ill be back in the 14s in xmas again! and this year (for the first time ever!) i want to still be in the 11s. id love to be a stone lighter, but am worried ill be good and then get to 11.9 and start maintaining again!
to get to 11.9 i was eating porridge or toast in the morning, something with salad for lunch, chicken, fish, orsalmon with veg and some sort of low fat sauce in the evening, and fruit for snacks. i was spending alot of money though, constantly buying fresh veggies and salad stuff, salmon etc. so i wanna try and do it the frugal way this time!
if its ok with everyone, im going to start today, but wont put an official weight down till monday 9th
good luck everyone! i know together, we can all do this!

yeah sure. Its about changing your lifestyle though, not about 'diets'. Its frustrating cos its not that hard and we all know what we have to do, but no one seems to do it. Eat less rubbish, eat more healthy stuff, do more excersise. It really is that easy.
I have a huge meals every day, large platefuls of food, yet keep my weight under control effortlessly. Just pile on the veg! Its cheap too. Cut out all the snacky food, eat properly and you wont miss it. Get out of the house and do some excersise regularly. Find something fun and energetic to do, of course signing up to a gym aint gonna work if its just a chore.
Most importantly it must be an overall lifestyle change, else you will always feel like youve given something up, or that you are 'working' at it.

I`m starving today, well maybe not starving but I am in need of something to munch on.So far today I`ve had;1/2 bowl of crunchy nut cornflakes(usually have a full bowl) with semi skimmed milk for breaky, lunch was 2 eggs scrammbled and now I`m chomping on a ice pop.But I feel hungry now and fancy something nice, not even sure what nice is?
I do know I have 1/2 a packet of hob nobs in the kitchen cupboard because I can hear them shouting me,begging me to eat them, but I shall resist.
I think I shall make another cup of tea and see how I feel after that.
What do you lot do when you are feeling hungry but dont want to snack?Debt Free Date:10/09/2007 :j :money:0 -
Drink a large glass of water. Apparently feeling hungry and feeling thirsty are very similar. If after 20 minutes you're still feeling hungry then you probably are. Worth a try. Good luck and ignore those hob nobs...they're out to get you!January budget
