    Hi

I'm up for this challenge too. I could do with some motivation - I need to lose about 3 stone really but I'll be happy to just lose some!

The main thing I do is make a big bowl of fruit salad and eat it during the day - if there's any left by the time my kids and DH have been near it!

Can I come and play please?

Swapped loads of HM Jam n Jelly last week for my mates leftover dried beans, pulses, grains and stuff. So I guess I'm going for a Gillian McKeith style eating plan until the cupboard is bare again :-)

I`ve thought of an idea but not sure if any of you will think it is a good idea, but I`ll tell you anyway.

I thought about getting a photo of your whole body, clothed of course and dividing it up into how many stones or even pounds what you want to lose.

So if you want to lose say 4 stones divide it into 4.Each time you lose a stone or pound if you have less to lose.Remove a section off the pic. That way you will see your goal closer,or you could take a new photo of your self wearing the same clothes to see the difference the stone has made.

It`s only a thought but might be worth while doing if you have a few stone to lose. Not sure if it would make much of a difference if just wanted to lose 10lbs?

Any feedback on this would be greatful.

:hello: Hi there and welcome aboard Gilly's new recruits - tryhard, juliejim, memorygirl and MissMoneypenny:T :T :T

I like the idea of the before and after photos, not so sure about dividing it up to equate the weight I want to loose, I would probably keep cutting until it was in shreds as I hate any photos of me at the moment. I'm sure there would be a difference in a 10lb weight loss as if a person only (she says!) has that to loose it would be noticable whereas on a big girl like me it will probably be a couple of stone before a big difference is noticeable. I don't know what the others think?
Anyway I 'm off to get ready for work. I hope you all had a good first day and look forward to hearing from you all over the next few weeks. xxx

Well due to a bit of added stress in my life at the moment i think i'm doing quite well. I hate worrying about things so I'm keeping myself busy. The poor dog has had enough of walking and the house has never been so tidy. Also, because I'm keeping busy i'm not snacking. I'm off for my first kickboxing class in an hour too! Should be fun! Whilst i'm not suggesting you all find something to stress you out the keeping busy might help take your mind of snacking. Good luck everyone! Roll on friday which is my weigh in day!

    Hi

I just thought I would officially weigh in (an by doing so totally commit myself to it) I am 5'2" and this morning I weighed in at 11st 9lb. This is actually down 3lb from a few weeks ago so I have made a very small start. I would love to get down to 9st 7lb but at this moment in time would be ecstatic if I could get below the 11 stone mark.

My achievement for today is that I work on the 4th floor and instead of using the lift to go up and down I used the stairs!!

    Kind regards

    Hello again all,
Triker and I had our weigh in today (week 4), and Triker has lost 2lb this week (congratulations Chicky!), and I stayed the same (not bad considering a huge chinese meal, and a pizza hut this w/end).

Glad to see we're all up for the challenge. Have an excellent week ahead.

Exercised today - I've gotta burn off that pizza - went for a 1 1/2 hr walk which got me very out of breath and very sweaty (yeuch)! :T
