someone will come on here with a proper reply, who knows about F&B eggshell. I'd guess the worst would be having to varnish the chalk paint before applying the f & b paint. Ordinary emulsion goes over chalk paint with no problems.0

Yes you can. Sometimes I use home made chalk paint as a first coat, then just neat emulsion for susequent coats. No prob.:)0 -
My internet went down before I got a chance to read the replies re the matt varnish so I used it anyway and I am really impressed with it, love the end results and so easy to use, and it dries so quickly.

the drawers were falling apart, doors were rotten and sticky ( i had to 'shave' them to get the grease and nicotine off :-/ ) tap was leaking ( for years so there is a lot of damage)
we didnt have tany money left for a new kitchen due to the damp walls and flooring in the living room, so I spend £70 on tile tranfers, paint, wallpaper to match, snazzy handles and a new blind and added a lot of hours scrubbing, sanding, and painting. It might not look very different but it feels and smells very different0 -
