Here is a Bureau I have been working on recently. It had a battered old walnut veneered finish, and I have painted it with ASCP in Old White with Antoinette on the interior :) Sorry the pics are soooooooo BIG!

I don't care that the pictures are big. I can see it clearly and it's amazing! Well done you.

I have spent today making roman blinds from my living room curtains. It's bleed in' hard work. I will post pics tomorrow when I have one with strings in!

Oh, missmilly, just when I thought I might put my paint brushes away.......I have a lovely Ducal bureau which won't fit in with our new colour scheme but, if painted would look great upstairs with my other white painted stuff. Not sure what to do now. It is a very handsome piece in pine.

    Hi Never Enough Money

Got the Handles from ebay. Search under glass knobs or handles. They come in blue pink or yellow. I love them thanks.

I've just finished my bureau. It's not very ornate but it does a brilliant job of hiding away all of my craft materials, as well as giving me an extra space to work.

I finally got around to painting that gilt framed mirror. However, once I'd done it, I decided that it would look better in my bedroom than the dining room. So it's been relocated!

Missmilly - gorgeous bureau! It's such a pretty shape, love the interior colour too.

I've finally finished my dresser (pics in the usual place) I'm very pleased with it, it was a pain being so big and I had lots of issues with paint not drying evenly but I was having to do it in the unheated conservatory and it was to chilly really....never mind, it's done now!

Thank you for all your lovely comments.

Pooky, I love your dresser, it looks beautiful. I have one too, but it's huge. I am quite scared about the thought of painting it, but I am so fed up with all the waxed pine that I have had in my house since about 1995! It's all got to be painted or it's got to go! :rotfl::rotfl:

I made some more bunting yesterday for the front room this time.
I added more bling as I wanted it as chintzy as I could make it.
I need to replace the lace with something else but I couldnt wait to put it up.
