Hi florenceem. Yes keeping myself busy to stop stiffening up after my mishap. Not sure why I don't have a headboard really. This is a spare room though I use it a lot. The main bedroom doesn't have a headboard either. We used to have a padded one but never replaced it for some reason. My first thought to update yours would be to make some sort of slip cover but maybe someone will come up with a better idea.

Here is my before and after pics of chest of drawers with ANCP Provence, Ive matt clear varnished it not waxed.

Lovely scotdee. Love the drawer knobs. I have the same wall colour in main bedroom and till recently had the same bed. My daughter has it now, dressed with laura ashley eau de nil quilt and accessories, mine too. It's great having a daughter with the same taste as nothing goes to waste when I fancy a change.

My white bedroom furniture looks good now but you have already sown the seeds of a possible colour change for the future.

Did a few upcycled painted garden things today. Trying to get my mojo back for the garden. Winter takes over the garden so spring is always a battle to reclaim it back again!!
