Hey lurkers! Post some pics.
I was a lurker for years and am now an addict :rotfl:0 -
I lurk and dream but don't do much else! Thinking about tackling a horrible pine staircase and have noticed that a lot of you use ASCP? Are there any recommendations where to buy? (where is cheap!
please )

cheap is make up your own from plaster of paris and emulsion paint. Have a practice first on a box/chair/ shelf first to get the feel of it. It is a rustic finish ( for me anyway)
The Annie sloan website has lists of local stockists which are usually chic little shops selling vintage furniture, or mail order from AS or a few others. I'm paying £17.50 a litre and it's seldom less than £16.50 anywhere.0 -
Here is a Bureau I have been working on recently. It had a battered old walnut veneered finish, and I have painted it with ASCP in Old White with Antoinette on the interior
Sorry the pics are soooooooo BIG!

Thank you
It didn't take too long, just a few days really. Luckily the paint dries really quickly especially as I am painting in the house at the moment instead of the summerhouse and garage where it is too cold and damp at the moment!0 -
missmilly: I absolutely LOVE that, useful in any room of the house (more or less). Well done you!Normal people worry me.0
