It looks like florists wire woven through the back of the button holes. It bends quite easily or you could use fuse wire instead. Alternatively, you could bend a wire coat hanger into a heart shape and use a glue gun to apply the buttons. My button jar is growing at a very fast pace as I pick up all I can find on the floor at work and cut all buttons off clothes too
I picked up a little mirror and draw unit today in the CSI have been after one of these for ages but the ones I have seen have either been very expensive or have needed too much repair work doing
This was £1.99
I brought 2 lovely little hearts the other day when I was at Cromford mill
They will be hung on the side of my pine shelf unit so they will be seen as you walk in the doorI love the little shop at the mill as the sell Emma Bridgewater and Grisela Graham stuff at realy good prices
Well better go and finish painting the wooden storage box I started yesterday while the good weather is holding outGetting myself sorted 1 day/1thing at a timeand Love sewing

Hi
Because I make jewellery I hd some 1.2 wire a made into a heart shape and used 0.6 copper wire to thread the buttons on, unfortunatly this kinks really easily and had to be really careful threading it. But as Kaz says it is just threading and wrapping the wire around the heart shape.0 -
hart44 - can't see your pics on work PC, grr! Will check at home later.
Look what I saw as I was innocently browsing the CK website - just like bibbity's but a lot dearer!!!

Thanks for that.Could you glue them on? I was thinking that maybe I could sew thread onto the buttons (it looks nicer imho) and then glue them...

Tara
love the sewing box
I would love one but its not big enough for all my sewing stuff :rotfl:
I know what you mean about the trollyit would be so much easier to bring the shopping home in that rather than 3-4 heavy bags and as it's CK who cares if it's mostly older people who use them
