ive seen people who are not old using them0 -
I have a bright orange Ikea one that we use on days out. Saves lugging round heavy rucksacks with packed lunches and bottles of coke. Also easy to drag across the beach.
PS im 41 so not that old lolSealed Pot Challenge member #982

Where my parents go on holiday in Spain, shopping trolleys are used by old & young alike & you can get some really lovely designs.
Personally I would like one of these

I have a shopping trolley and I wouldn"t be without it!! I got one at christmas when the weather was really bad but I had wanted one for ages. I used mine last week to bring home the cheap 3 for 10 quid wine from the supermarket!! ( I do use it for groceries too!!!)0

Hya all...not done any decorating/painting for ages...really must get back to it!
Had to de-lurk and say, I've had a trolley for over three years. I am on my second one now, it is bright orange, with orange prints of apples on a white background...you can see us coming from the other end of the high street!!! :rotfl: My first one came from Savers, and when a wheel fell off, they were able to give me a spare set of wheels from a damaged trolley out the back (torn cover). I still have it somewhere..I used it to carry all my printed handouts when I taught IT to over 150 students for a couple of terms !!
DS refuses to pull the orange trolley when empty, but does pull it when it is full...usually of fruit and veg, or loads of milk!
I have a bad back and wish I had got myself a trolley years ago! (I'm now 50, but really should have had one when I was in my 20s...my back could well have been in a better state than it is now if I'd carried all my stuff around in a trolley!).
Right off back into my shell....night, night all.
Great buys and make-overs by the way, very inspirational, well done! :T:T

I've wanted a wally trolley for years but it's not practical for me. We live on a steep hill. When we have the bad weather we take a sledge to collect the shopping. Well, that's what we did last year as we bought them for the kids for Christmas (had to give them to them early because the snow came on the 18th December). Before that it was always a backpack. I would like one of these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Shopping-Trolley-Shopper-Folding-Bag-Wheeled-Wheels-WSH-/260669586718?pt=UK_Tickets_Travel_Luggage_CA&var=&hash=item8263b771fd#ht_4571wt_1022 but it wouldn't have a tall enough handle for me anyway. Never mind, I shall just keep looking wistfully at them

And new Cath Kidston speakers!
i have a largish speak like this in my kitchen so inspired by this i decided tonight to paint it white to make it blend in with the wall.
how do you get the front of the speaker off?
i dont seem to be able to move mine its a kind of velco type material in black.
in the end ive had to mask it and leave it in place whilst i do my white painting, do they all come off?0
