Hi everyone. :) I lurk here, but don't post usually. However, i just had to share the cute dolls crib i got from the charity shop for DD. I have ordered some lovely little strawberries fabric to make a cover and i am going to paint it white. :) It will be the first thing i have attempted, but i figure i should start small.

My x2 layers of primer have yellowed in certain areas - any ideas why this could be? Is the yellow likely to show through the eggshell? It seems to have occurred in the same places - ie the legs. I sanded everything well yesterday, with coarse medium and fine paper so I'm a bit confused!

What was the original finish like? Some stains and varnishes can seep through unfortunately. If you have any still unpainted sections to do, the Dulux Trade Supergrip primer is excellent for covering old varnish. If it is already painted then, unless you fancy sanding it back off, all you can do is keep on adding coats of undercoat until it stops showing through.
