If anyone is in Leamington, there was an old desk left outide a house on grove road (by fire station), free to a home this afternoon. Could't get it in my micra!

However, some one on my street left some plastic garden chairs "free to good home". So I have rehomed them. They are filthy. How can i get them clean (no hose pipe) and rather than chairs what can I use them for instead ( I was thinking plant stands but I don't want it to look like a waiting room).

Aaah, the perils of having a micra! (I have one too!)

mrsgreentoad my wallpaper is from Laura Ashley - link here. I never buy full price though, they're always having a sale! Or if you only need one or two rolls check ebay, people often sell left over rolls :)

Yes me too!! I aspire to you...does that make sense! :)How do you find the time. I need to get more motivated. Halfway through a table and chairs and a mirror but thats taken me about 4 months and have a dresser already to do! But I have a plan! It starts next week. Have been ill but on the mend and determined to sort this house out once and for all. xxxx

Am yet another step closer to finishing my downstairs loo, utility and kitchen make over. Have done some filling today and cleaned the top of the cupboards. It's getting there. I can't wait to finish it but keep getting put on split nights at work which knocks me for six :(

Just wondering if anyone can recommend a grey shade that doesn't look 'cold' and isn't dark. My little ones room has white wallpaper with silver stars on one wall and the rest is painted cream but needs re-doing and thinking of grey to tie in with the stars. Also the cream gets dirty so quickly so thought this would maybe be better! I'm ordering white bunk beds and still undecided about the wardrobe. Currently a double one which i use too and want a triple one. Not sure whether to shabby one up but worried about getting something up the stairs or shock horror buy a flat pack one?! Decisions decisions! Decided that while i'm still not well that i am planning then as soon as i'm better on a mission! xx
