tara747, I really want that vase!!! I bought curtains with those colours and design from the Spinning Mill in Belfast and they match exactly!! Have been too busy buying stuff for the kitchen in the charity shops and car boots so the other rooms have taken a back seat. Am going to bid on the vase, Bangor is just down the road anyway!!0

I lurk here, but don't post usually. However, i just had to share the cute dolls crib i got from the charity shop for DD. I have ordered some lovely little strawberries fabric to make a cover and i am going to paint it white.
It will be the first thing i have attempted, but i figure i should start small.

I didn't realise that it was in Bangor, just searched for 'Orla Kiely vase' and it came up!
There's this one too, it works out cheaper if you include postage!

Gorgeous. no offence but painting would ruin this. fabric sounds lovely tho
Oh no offense taken. I just don't really like dark wood. It's not posh wood or anything, it's like thick ply or something. You can see the stripes at the edges. :rotfl:It's definitely handmade by the look of it.Sarah.
