Hello all - 4 weeks today for me!! So excited. Sounds like everyone's plans are all coming together well, which is great. Can't believe how soon it's going to be for us all.

Not too much been happening here - except the bills coming in! Also had a final meeting with our florist on Monday night so the flowers have all been decided now. Going to try doing a table plan with my mum tomorrow too

Hey all, hope everyone is getting on well. 3 weeks on Saturday for me...

Not feeling too great Had a health scare at the weekend. Thought there was something seriously wrong with me. Doctor thinks it's an internal UTI (too much info, sorry!) but now I'm getting weird pains in my stomach. And I now have a cold. So I'm kinda down in the dumps. Still worried something is wrong with me but I wonder if it's more likely to be stress because I was so worried about what was wrong with me at the weekend. No idea whether to go to the doctor because really I just have a sore tummy.

It's really taken the wind out of my sails, I feel no excitement for the wedding anymore. History of depression probably doesn't help. FUN FUN FUN. I think I don't really want to go to the doctor in case they want to refer me for a scan or something. I don't want all that hassle before the wedding in case it's something bad.

Sorry, just on a real downer.

Losingpatience - bit of a strange coincidence here, I too have cramps, fever and aches! It started when I was getting worried about my other pains and now developed all that. It could be stress making us run down and more likely to catch something. And stress can give you aches and pains all over. So sorry to hear about your husband-to-be and your honeymoon That really sucks. I hope insurance sorts it out. And defo book yourselves a holiday away somewhere, just for a break at least. You can get your break in the dominican at a later date, something to look forward to xxx

2 weeks today :j:j:j So excited and everything is sorted Rang caterers yesterday as looking at numbers we've invited, we over estimated and IF everyone comes we asked there will be way too much...so we took it down not too much just by 10 people which will stil be more than coming but don't want to go down too much and not have enough However, as we catered for 100 originally it was a cheaper price per head.....but I stated to him that he forgot to mention the proce with VAT when i rang to book...so the bill was more than expected anyway...and he agreed to keep it at same price per head making it cheaper . Also changed time they setting up, as originally they were setting up @ 2pm but we don't need buffet til 8..didn't think about the sandwiches etc sitting there for that many hrs...so they now setting up @5/6 which means I can over see it
I ordered cake yesterday too...apparently m& s still have wedding cakes instore on 3 for 2 as they not online I had to rethink about mine...after talking to my auntie decided to go with buying 4 of the cutting bars and styling that as our wedding cake (most reviews are good so hope it tastes nice ):o.
Decided on what to have on tables at reception as I wanted lights (don't want main lights on)...and had thght along the lines of lanterns/tea light holders.....but I saw some fibre optic lamps...and thght they would be perfect...different, fun and look like fireworks :rotfl:so need to get them and some mirror tiles to put on the tables, we then having confetti scattered on tables...and balloons dotted around...hoping it all looks good
Got my wedding dress fitting on monday.....really can't wait...I found a picture in one of the magazines of the dress....I wouldn't have picked it out from there...but then I didn't like it on the hanger :rotfl::rotfl: Pictire doesn't do it justice in the least....it just how amazing it looks and makes me feel when it on...so really can't wait....hope not put weight on tho ( tho living with a chocoholic h2b I done extremely well with self control):rotfl:

Hello everyone - how is it Sunday night already?!

I collected my dress today and it was perfect. It actually felt like mine whereas before I knew I loved it but because it was way too long and the straps were too long it felt like I was trying someone elses dress on. I managed to lose my target of 1.5st too so feel extra fab in it!!

Very excited now :j

Hi everyone,

I've been ill as well! I've had a stinking cold for well over a week now. We moved house on Friday and I think my cold was the result of being run down and stressed about the move and the wedding! Am happy to say the move went smoothly and we are nearly all unpacked.

I think everything for the wedding is sorted for now... I've got to get my engagement ring re-dipped and get the ties and hankerchiefs to the ushers but other than that, all done! Actually that's a big fib -- I haven't had the proofs back from the stationer for our order of service, menu, table plan and place settings yet, eek. Oh and my favours should be turning up on Friday (my 30th birthday!!). Then I've got to put a box together for each table with the table name (gone for shades of blue -- iris, cornflower, azure, sapphire, midnight etc), place settings, menu's and favours to give to the venue so they can set it out nice and easy. And to my exact specification!!

My boss has been away for the last week and has all of next week off as well so I've been covering everything which means 8am starts What with that and the move, I could really really do with a lot of sleep somewhere. It has kept my mind off the wedding though!

Glad everyone's excited, not long now! 2 weeks and 3 days for me!

Losingpatience, really sorry to hear you had to cancel your honeymoon. Hope your fiance is recovering well. Have you managed to book anywhere else yet?

Enchantica, how are you feeling? UTI's can be brought on by stress and being run down, hope you're able to rest up and eat lots of fruit and veg! I know what you mean about putting off the doctor's, but see how you feel as you don't want to be feeling rough on your day. Might be better going to see the doctor?

I had my hair trial the Saturday before last and I absolutely loved it! My mum came as well for a practice blow-dry and I was so excited! It's all up and sleek and a bit bouffant-y but not too much. They put my veil and and tiara on as well and I really looked the part! Was mega pleased with it. Just got to practice with my make up now! I've been practicing bits and pieces but not the whole look yet and I've been so tired, it's a miracle any make up has made its way near my face the last few days.

It's lovely to hear everyone's updates, so exciting!

Chrissy1981. Tis also 2weeks 3 days for me too (11/11/11) AND my 30th birthday is tomorrow! (26th)

How similar are us scorpio's??!! Lol. Even my husband to be is Scorpio too and has his birthday whilst on our weddingmoon.
