I'm staying with the sun lounger. I can't get off a lilo without it making f*rt noises and it's too near the ground to get off gracefully after a cocktail or two... I could be persuaded to economise and put in the kitty for the three for £10!

Hullo Pinot, how are you? I think I'll come and disturb the sanity of your diary next!

The thing is with those particular noises is that after consuming the three for ten, I really dont care who hears or the lack of any graceful movements !! :rotfl:

My diary is far from sane but an injection of your lovely humour would be very welcome indeed. The more the merrier I say !!:D

Now we have single handedly managed to hijack NL's shiny newly started diary ! Oops!! Sorry !! x

Surely not! She'll be thrilled we're all here on her sun loungers, she's left it a bit late for the first round though...

Well hello All. It's such a lovely day I think I need to break out a chilled white (from previously purchased stash so completely mse!)

Lots going on here, my neighbour has complained to me about my dogs barking and it's true they are a yappy bunch. I have no idea how to make them be quiet and I think he may go to the council.

Just an FYI: I haven't been to Waitrose since Friday. That is a new world record for me. How are you all keeping xx

maybe talk to a vet or a dog trainer for some advice ? there may be something that they can suggest... dogs are like babies and we cant really control the noise they make ... but i can also understand if it isnt your dog you dont exactly want you peace and quiet disturbed ... good luck with it ...

maybe keep talking to the neighbour as well and explain what you are trying that way they will know you are taking it seriously and not just ignoring his complaints

yes I agree. other people's dogs and babies are never as nice as your own. I would be angry with my neighbour but he is being truthful. I have all 3 and they are a mini breed which is prone to being a bit... well let's say "chatty" :)

i work nights and i have to admit if my neighbours dog barked all day i would have to have something to say as well ... as a night shift worker i accept that things will wake me up ( phone calls mowing of lawns etc ) but i think if i had a dog barking all the time i would go nuts ....

i know it cant be helped and we cant control the dogs but i think if i atleast knew they were taking my issue seriously and trying to do something about it i would feel pacified some what... which is why i think atleast talking and listening to them may go a long way ...

yes I agree. thankfully the guy next door doesnt have any kids and has his own dog. (who barks way less !) I have ordered some bark deterrants ultrasonic ones from Amazon.
