Thanks for all the support everyone. Step dad may be an obstacle as he thinks "it's all hogwash"!

New job starting soon so trying to read apt schedule and get up at 630 to get used to living amongst the human race again.

Will force a walk to the bank and chemist on her shortly.

Really need to refocus on debt and weight again. X

    :hello:Hi NL

Great to be back reading your news again but sorry its been such a struggle for the last few weeks..mum, THEM, work changes...thats a lot to have on 1 plate..

Having regular "office type' hours may not be a bad thing you know and as for the commute..how about walking some of it or taking a bike? Feel better and save money??...and as I am in town often I would be very happy to meet up for a lunch!!:D

    Take care

hi all, my transition date is 13 May when I start the "real" job instead of working from home.

I tired on all my suits last night and not really fit. even my shoes were pinchy from being too fat. I think I can lose 10lbs in 20 days which means I will be able to squeeze into something and not shell out for anything new.

Super therapist says it will be good for me to leave my mom alone so that she has to do some things herself. She will be alone from 8:30 to 12:30 when Jadwiga is at church. Hopefully she wont just sleep the whole time.

Really nervous about the whole thing but I am grateful to have a job.
    Hope everyone is ok

PS won tix to the globe theatre venud and adonis so will drag mother to it

Also I think I broke my paper shredder by jamming too much paper in it all at once. I find shredding very cathartic so I will have to see if I can fix her tomorrow

Oh no ! I blew up my last shredder being very impatient trying to jam far too much in at once. I then tried to shred all manner of things, just for the hell of it. Something about that shredding noise is very calming ! It suddenly ground to a halt, smelt very smoky and never ever worked again ! :o Oops !! xxx

Sorry you didnt make the Globe, NL, was there doing their tour before the season started and it was great fun. Mom not up to it hey?

Do you really need to wear suits? Can you wrangle something out of trousers/skirt. nice top and a cardigan thing? less and less people wearing formal suits in the City these days. As you say not really helpful if you have to buy anything.

Your Aspie score: 117 of 200
    Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 111 of 200
You seem to have both Aspie and neurotypical traits
