hello lovely friends in the box. Thanks for all looking in on me, Had the shrink appoinmtnet on Friday, clinical depression and Schizoid personality disorder in the "secret form" combined with some dementia.

I have got my own super therapist now. so in brief:

the disorder makes you cold detached and want to be alone, the secret part means you mask it, the clinical depression is down to feeling alone and the demential needs familiar places and faces.

    !!!!!!.

anyway debt busting not going so well. The boiler packed it in (intermittentanty!) and so I need to buy a new one. New job begins in 15 days.

I wish I could put a bow on it but you can't shine a turd.

PS for once OH is attentive, mowed the grass and helped change the bedding.

Sorry for my Houdini act, just trying not to drop all the pins I am juggling.

Well I think you summed that one up very succinctly there! Wow not really sure what I can offer you other than hang in there girl, you have a diagnosis now you can start with the how to live with this strategy.

Glad OH is being attentive and helpful

Good thing about turds , fertiliser and good for the garden (eventually). Stop panicking about the job, it's going to be good, fine and worthwhile.

Wow. Well; a diagnosis and a super therapist - that's two positive, useful steps.

Can't pretend to think you're on an easy road, but at least you know what you're dealing with now; gives you a better idea where to look for information, and ideas for coping strategies.

Hope Mom is getting on ok with her Psych Doc, and co-operating with everyone..

    (((hugs)))
