Actually I shall rush off to google it now ! x
Well done MrsPG - know what it is now, thanks to MrsPG and MrGoogle.
Excellent cause and sounds like great fun, NewLeaf - are you doing the Full Moon or Half Moon? (And can you keep the bra as a momento?).
..Got a JustGiving page for sponsors?NewLeaf wrote:I am doing the moonwalk next weekend, and have a blister the size of scotland on my foot from "practicing". Need for it to heal up
Get a lump of fresh [mature] Aloe Vera leaf big enough to cover the blister. Cut off the spines and the skin on one side. At night, tape it cut side in, over the blister like a poultice, and sleep with it like that. Repeat each night until cured (2-3 days?).
In the unlikely event you don't have your own plant and need to beg a leaf off a mate, it will keep happily in a bag in the fridge.0 -
Lucille, what happened? It sounds awful.
I had done some training but not enough. Nearly collapsed at mile 18 as had chronic stomach pains but battled through. Miles 23-26 sister was walking so slow it was painful and had to go on ahead. Made it though, one of the proudest moments of my life but never again!

Have you checked planning application on the council website. They are meant to inform those in the area.
How are you feeling generally?
