Oooooh Mrs New Leaf sounds really fab - I like her style. I sometimes wish I was brave enough to go bare faced, however without my slap I look as if some one has dug me up and put some teeth in me:rotfl:

MRS NL also has no idea how to match clothes, so everything I buy for her is black, khaki, denim, white or red.

Apart from the green dress my friend made me buy £19 reduced from £89!!! And a blue jumper knitted by MIL

Oh well, I can see that we all come to yours for your Debt Free garden party NL, I am going to have to take Mrs NL and missrlr to Primani and New Look and give you both a makeover - be warned though that you I do not do subtle!! You will look like colourfull Godesses - trust me!

Ah yes, I see. Well she should still accompany me and missrlr (and you can come as well if you like) and she can moan about how long we are taking and can carry the bags (until we get fed up of her chuntering and we will send her off to the pub:j

She is an excellent bag holder. As long as she is rewarded with a coffee and a large muffin, piece of cake, pan au chocolate she will stand there all day

Well I rest my case! Golf appears to be a main extravagance for OH as she doesn't 'waste' money on the usual fripperies..

NewLeaf, OH sounds like a woman after my own heart! ..Substitute British Racing Green for khaki and you have my wardrobe choices too - Dot you could drag me along for a glamming up session if you take NL's OH and Missrlr- but you'd have to do the shopping; I can never imagine what might look nice on me when it's on a rail with thirty more the same (unless it's a suit). DIL3 sometimes buys bits for me as she's got a good eye, but generally I slope off to the charity shops when she manages to drag me to town! :rotfl:

Sometimes when I am joking with her I tell her when she is old and bed ridden I am going to take a pair of barber clippers to her so I can finally see what she looks like under there
