Ok missrlr I am raising a glass to you (and in anticipation of my trainer Dorothy's strict weigh in policy) it is just one glass.

    xx

Ah but didn't she tempt you with cake earlier, I'm sure that's more calorific x

Hope you enjoyed your drinks, I'm hoping to partake myself next week, once this bug's well and truly done one x

180 days of drinking for civil servants, being one myself I can understand why. You need it just to get through the other half of the year x

  • 1.1lb - Fabulous you Fabulous undulating belly dancing thing you. I hope that you are very pleased with yourself because I am very very pleased with you, particularly after the sh1te week you have had.

I will be beside you in spirit today as you do your walk. I seem to remember that you are doing it for charity, in fact I'm pretty sure that you posted a link. Can I sponsor you? If so, pse post the link again. I am one of these lazy people who would much rather pay someone else to do the energetic stuff:)

I have been a naughty Dorothy and imbibed many calorific items these last few days, and done little in the way of calorie burning - however I will resolve to rectify this starting from tomorrow........once I have emptied the fridge from anything remotely tempting this afternoon:rotfl:
  • Oh now you have made me feel guilty, you walking all that way in sub zero temperatures and me sitting here stuffing my gob so........I sewed myself a dance belt. Impressed? You should be. I found two very old 2lb handweights (the ones that you velcro round your wrists to improve muscle defenition dontcha know) and cut them open to release the weights therein. Little did I know that the weight was made up from this odious looking black sand, well I made a right mess on my kitchen work top let me tell you. Any way, I sewed two tubes of fabric and proceeded to pour said sand into both of them - more blimmin mess. Then sewed the open end up, attached firmly to two pieces of wide elastic and voila, my very own Dorothy Dance Belt. You wear it on the hips (it sits very nicely on my menopausal buddha belly) and it helps strengthen the core while exersising. So I have undulated for 30 mins and it must be working as my mid section appears to have seized up and I am bent over like a little old lady (oh, I AM a little old lady)

What I didn't realise was that the grains of sand are so tiny that they have migrated through the fabric of DMDB (Dorothy's Magic Dance Belt). This wasn't apparent at first as I am wearing black lycra leggings (very fetching) and only realised when I removed it and placed it on the brown leather sofa and Mr Dot asked what all the black stuff was! Oh. Back to the drawing board.
