Hugs from me too, NewLeaf.
Now the ceremonies are done, tension will drain away - both you and OH could do with a treat this weekend, methinks..

Just a quickie to let you know I am thinking of you, and second Robin's suggestion of a nice treat for both of you this weekend - something decadent and debauched like a Tosco vanilla slice - am indulging as I type and let me tell you it is SUBLIME.
Just read your post on Piq's thread and wanted you to know that I think you are so, so lovely.

A treat seems like a good idea. OH is downstairs working away trying to catch up on emails. For both of us work/life balance is an OOPS we need to correct.
Dorothy the fact that you think I am lovely will spur me on to undulate while folding my washing.
Shiva is over for OH family today because today is a Jewish Holiday call Purim. Basically it revolves around the book of Esther and is a happy holiday where you do mitzvahs (good deeds) for others and eat a nice meal.
I know some of you will appreciate that in the olden times the way this was celebrated was with a six-month (180 day) drinking feast given by King Ahasuerus, for the army of Persia and Media, for the civil servants and princes in the 127 provinces of his kingdom, at the conclusion of which a seven-day drinking feast for the poor and everyone else.
180 day drinking feast!! I say you can all be Esthers' for today and join in with the drinking!Mortgage: £280,752/ £262,515.84

Yah! I remember this from school, seemed like a lovely way to remembered bravery and overcoming adversity. I will join you, because I can and DH can stick his icky comments about me drinking somewhere the sun don't see!
