Nice one Mrs Dot. Boo to moms who make our NL feel sad.
I am back after a few days hard graft:rotfl: well, absence from the diaries..blimey NL, you left me about 4 pages of posts to get through! I was only gone for 4 days!! Very sorry I missed out on trying out the belly dancing but have to report that the magic hat was fab today!!! worked very well for me so thanks for the loan.....now need to clone it:D
Great news re bonuses, paying down the tax...the walking. You're on fire!! Well done :T:T:T
PS have to say do think about repairing the DW...surely it's still under guarantee...or at least query whether fit for purpose? 19mths seems too short a time to not be covered by a manufacturers guarantee, whether stated or implied. Have to say mine is essential..but then we have 5 in our house...not having the 'magic cupboard' :T would be the straw that breaks the camels back

Hi Brizzled, glad the magic hat worked for you, and please don't worry about missing out on the belly dancing, it is very much a work in progress, in fact you can gladly join our troupe - once we are completely proficient we are thinking about going on tour. Pinot already has two outfits which were her daughters' so a couple of us can perhaps squeeze into those, and I am quite sure we can cobble together some shimmery sequined outfits a la Strictly:rotfl::rotfl:0

Dear NL want to say a bl00dy well done on reducing that debt so far to THEM, over £6k already, you are amazing. x
Sorry to hear about the row with Mom, she's struggling with home life at the moment so is probably taking it out on you as her nearest and dearest. Don't take it to heart dearest one and remember Granny will never turn on you, so come here for a hug and a sympathetic ear anytime you need one. xTargets

Good stuff. DD2 has a fetching yellow number with some fab tassels and sequins....oh..but on second thoughts would be too revealing even for a belly dancer, won't fit me ....so yes please..can you assemble a suitable outfit for me too:rotfl:MFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

Posts crossed there...agree with Granny. ( she is always so wise!!) think your mom is struggling..not that acknowledging that necessarily makes it any easier of course. Plus she misses you I am sure. XMFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

fantastic amount of money cleared on the debts congrats...
I think Granny is right... I know my dear old mama often has a pop at me on the phone when she is feeling bad herself. I know quite often that is because my mum is not one to talk about "feelings" so she just gets narky with me over the phone and sometimes rather than bite my tongue i bite back... which is not always the right thing to do.. but you just cant help it..
Hope you feel brighter in the morning you are doing amazingly well x0 -
Moms need hugs too:

I know, I feel rubbish today, everyone at work is wondering what is wrong with me, I have been so quiet.
Reading Robin's post this morning made me feel very emotional, I'm sure I will feel better when I get home and respond properly.
Must be February Blues - snowing here AGAIN and I came to work without my wellies as I wasn't expecting it.
I will try to cheer up and post again later then we can all have a bit of a giggle eh?
What's up with our Mom then, or would you prefer not to say. I know you mentioned a while ago that she was having problems with her hubby (very problematic they are too, wouldn't you agree Granny x 2?)
Hey ho, back to working and will check in later:o

Sorry to hear about the row with your mum.
Mine always has a pop at me, or screams and shouts or slams the phone down when she is feeling upset. Its always my fault though. Gets me down so I can really understand why you are so feeling so down.
I am sure though she doesn't mean it, don't we always take it out on those we are closest too ?
Dont be blue, be pink instead as my DD would say ! Complete nonsense I know but hey ho, that's how we roll !LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !
