Ok it is freezing. The blizzard I was hoping for didn't happen, therefore I must go to the office and that means washing my hair and "doing" it as well as putting on make up. I don't know how you all do it!

So here is this morning's faux ... As I am lying in bed I say to OH since someone threw themselves under the train at Ealing broadway last night and the ice and all I wonder if all the trains are running ok for my big day.

She said " I am worried about you and the trains, take the car" ( I am thinking romance at last!) "because clearly you have no idea where your office is as the train you need is on the Piccadilly line at Northfields!"

While it Is true I have been to the office in an eternity, she didn't have to be so mean about it!

Bet she didn't mean it to sound like that. You know it's probably her way with words.

Think how great you'll feel once the old makeup and hair show is out. Glamorous NL.....:T

I'm sure she didn't mean it quite the way you heard it. As you know I live with one of those hard to understand people too.

Hope your day turns out better than expected and that you feel better now you have done your hair and face. Always makes me feel better anyway.

  • OMG who's ridiculous idea was to belly dance? Oh, it was mine. I am walking around like Frankensteins monster. Every bit of me hurts. It must be working then - no pain no gain right?

Once we are all proficient I agree that we should form a troupe and wear harem pants and belly button jewels and veils on our faces and we will all look fab..........that's if I can ever move again of course

Oh what a lovely post, Granny, I am so glad that the OH is not as bad as he appeared to me when I read that post. I will indeed pop over to your thread, but before I do I must tell New Leaf about my belly dancing experience. DGD did indeed nod off so I you tubed and did the dance of the seven veils. I started off with a stitch and now I think I have dislocated my hip! Christ, it's hard. Probably did too much:rotfl: FYI New Leaf the one I did was in four parts (but only did three before I terminally injured myself) and it has two stunning tiny asian ladies I think they were twins, actually I think it was us cos as you know we are twins. So knock yourself out girl and let me know how you go on (If you think it will interfere with your cathiter maybe stick to your walking dvd - is it Leslie Ransom - think that's her name she is on you tube and I do her walking workout sometimes........ooh we are such athletes, shall we do the 2016 Olympics?

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Oh My Dot, I am crying with laughter here at the thought of all of this energetic Belly Dancing ! I have just remembered my DD's have a Belly Dancing Outfit in the cupboard, I wonder if I could squeeze into it and join you !

  • Hi PG - I am crying with pain - however I shall persist, if I am to head up our troup of lovely BD I must ensure that I am as flexible as a flexible thing, shimmy my hips and shoulders in perfect harmony whilst peering over the top of my bejewelled veil (do you think if I wore my specs it would spoil the look?) There was also an element of sliding your head from side to side without using your shoulders, so now of course I need a neck brace. Sigh.......the indignities I subject myself to you keep you lot amused.......
