MyUserNamesTaken wrote:I can tell how much understanding you have of the Law by the crap you're posting on this thread. I don't need to "know" you. Your posts tell me all I need to know. You didn't even understand what the OP was talking about.
Why do you feel the need to be rude and unpleasant and use vulgar language ?
Why can you not discuss/debate a topic with somebody you disagree with in a civil fashion ?0 -
Be gentle with me, I hardley ever post on this thread, just lurk, you are all too scarey
....
So why are you waiting for your R&R Derek, I still don't understand that....
That doesn't sound like a good plan to me.. esp you photo, as that to me says you knew what would happen blatently :shhh:
Do you really intend to return and buy more from the same stores, already knowing that the discount didn't work and then expecting them to R&R you more than one... with all the hassle they have given others on single xbox R&R's...
(no I haven't got a xbox myself, and have not even been looking, but I do enjoy reading this thread)...:idea:Hello :j  :j0 -

Where is the unpleasant and vulgar language? !!!!!! is in relation to crapper, inventor of the wc no?

Nesima wrote:I studied business law as part of a business studies degree.
But to be fair that was over 10 years ago, I am not aware of contract law changing since my studies. If it has please tell me when ?
IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH CONTRACT LAW. IT IS ALL ABOUT THE CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT 1987 WHICH MAKES IT A CRIMINAL OFFENCE TO GIVE MISLEADING PRICE INDICATIONS.
Can I make it any clearer than that?
Where's that brick wall smilie? In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
It's time to make that change.

Same here. I passed civil law as part of a business and economics degree, also 10 years ago. In Germany though, so that's completely useless here in the UK.
Let's leave the law talk to the lawyers, I'd suggest. No offence.0 -
Well, I suppose I'm glad no-one flamed me, but I enjoy reading the Tesco threads, so please stop agruing and maybe say you 'll post an answer to her on the other ethics thread..

MyUserNamesTaken wrote:I am being perfectly civilised. I have basically blown your legal arguments out of the water. Unfortunately, you fail to see it.
Incidentally, I read Law at Uni.
My statements concerning contract law are correct !
So how have you 'blown my legal arguments out of the water' ?
The points I have tried to explain to you and others concern that fact that under contract law it is the customer who makes the offer to purchase and it is the retailer that accepts the offer. No more than that.
The statements I have made do not refer to after a contract has been agreed and the goods have been paid for.0 -

Irrelevant. Overruled. Get it?
Now I'm tired of toying with you. You're far too easy.
