That maybe true, but you are giving general advice and making it seem oh so simple, sometimes CS in Dundee just won't budge and nor will stores, you ghive the impression to newbies that every misprice is an open and shut case- it is not !

The x-box fiasco saw CS (Kevin Kelly turn down claims with expired SELs

I agree I was denied a R&R on a high priced item with an expired SEL by a senior member of CS and have a letter saying that R&R does not apply to expired SELS.

Taxiphil - this is a personal understanding rather than anything to do with Tesco - I was under the impression that in order to obtain things like cctv footage, you DO need to provide the information that they have requested. Dates, time frames and locations.
Who or what was I before you came in to my life
    I am not sure

why do you need to send a cheque?
  • With CCTV footage you can ask for the tapes and not pay anything, that is what I heared about 2 years ago, dont know about that now.

A company can make a reasonable charge for accessing the information

I for one will be watching how taxiphil's request pans out. Maybe a good idea for us all to request what they have on us? 2 advantges: it keeps more people in employment and costs Tesco a bundle of the commodity they cherish the most.
I spelt my username wrongly on purpose, by the way!
