  • went to wigan tesco last night and couldn't get any of the mispriced stuff listed - meat, doritos, ps2 games, dvds, books etc. looks like they pretty quick to remove SEL labels when they run out!

What is your job? at 450 gross a day (i.e. 13.500 GBP gross a month i.e. 162.000 GBP gross a year) I would say that certainly you are 5-10 times above the average wage around!! Anything involving time is a waste in your case, given how much your time is valued. If you need help with your job I will be pleased to come along even at 50% wage ;)

I think he means £450 per week, hence the ref. to £6 for half an hour.
  • Hi

I bought two loaves of bread. On my receipt I had been charged for two, then another one (i.e. three in total). What should I have been refunded? They only gave me the money back for one loaf (the loaf I did not buy). Is that correct? CS said I would have got all three refunded if they had gone through as three all together, but becasue they went through as two then one, I had only been overcharged on the one

The official HO line is that the policy does not cover checkout operator errors. Seeing as your overcharge was caused by a checkout operator error, R&R does not apply. Some stores are more lenient on this, however.

  • Can anyone confirm, do Tesco also operate the r+r policy in Northern Ireland?

    Thanks,

It applies to ROI, too. It's called the "No Quibble" guarantee over there, I think.

  • Its Tesco Ireland in ROI so maybe. And just a quick question why would a person just Northern Ireland care if Tecso in ROI does the R+R policy?

It would be the same if some asked if the Dover store does the R+R policy and someone saids "I dont know about France though" Sorry to sould cheecky about this.

EDIT: yes its called the "NoQuibble" guarantee as MyUserNamesTaken stated.

Bit touchy aren't we? It's quite possible that somebody in NI could live closer to an ROI store than one in their own country, or at least be within "range". Clearly this is not the case with Dover.
    Can I help?
  • I know it's a bit OT, but to those who have bought the PS2's, do I need to also buy a memory card as well to play games?

I just noticed on some games it mentions the 8MB card? Does that standard console not come ready to play?
