Should have a date in small print at the bottom of the SEL.{Signature removed by Forum Team}0 -

Excellent
Should you not go back to customer services, say "I believe I have been undercharged", make up the difference in money, leave the games on the desk and go on your merry way
(I'm joking :rotfl: )0 -
finally had a response about my complaint about a duty manager (took em 3wks mind) and i've been told that "the gentleman in question has been dealt with".....what will that mean? he's had a slap on the wrist? All because he told me that if i ever was overcharged again, tesco wouldn't honour the price promise, and i wouldn't even be refunded the difference
told them i was sick of being followed round the store as well as i found it very unnerving.thought they might have had the decency to send me a Gift Card or something as a way of apologising, but didn't get a thing :rolleyes:0 -

kinda makes a mockery of the morals thread, people are more than happy to get free stuff but when they are undercharged do they give the money back...or even offer to? Oh no, they post it so more can take advantage....looks like things dont work both ways!!
And yes, Tesco have made a mistake, just like on the overcharges.......Fight Poverty - Hit a tramp!
I don't exist, it is merely your imagination.

Bought 2 pork joints today.
SEL showed £5.49 kg, pack showed £5.99 kg.
went to CS . She went away to check and came back,
and said it was old stock  , I was buying and the lower price did not apply to these joints that I had.
after a bit of an argument, with me stating that I did not look
at the dates, I just picked 2 joints, CS said it was not a misprice and she
could change my meat for other packs or refund.
I took refund, but was not happy.
It was only for £11 but I think this should have been a definite r&r.I AM WHAT I AM0 -
Too soft! They HAVE To sell all the same product at the lowest price shown, whether that be on the shelf or one of the packs. Next time stand your ground, look confident in what you are saying and you WILL get a R&R as these CS bods generally DO NOT know their @rse from their elbow when it comes to retail law.I spelt my username wrongly on purpose, by the way!0

I got nowhere with CS staff the other day for a USB hard drive, spoke to several CS ladies for over half an hour, made two 15 mile round trips but all were adamant the expired yellow SEL was not an overcharge.(£89.99, charged £99.99 )
I asked to speak to the manager on the second trip.
He must've only been about 25 but ok'd an R&R within 2 mins. Same went for my mate who I introduced R&R to at the weekend.
So if you get nowhere with CS ask for the manager you are more likely to win0
