I'm not at all outraged, if you feel the need to give false details then go ahead like I said your committing no crime, but to present false details may supply them with amunition to declare you as an unsavoury and dishonest customer and justify a ban, whilst a ban for r&r I can tell you is seriously illegal, but you would not be able to fight such a ban on it's legallity if you have portrayed yourself as dishonest by supplying false details as this could then be used against you.

I think the salient point here (which to be fair I didn't mention) is that I don't actually give them a false address. The address definitely exists, not that they would find me (in fact, anyone) living there but they would get a real 'buzz' if they did visit 'me'!*

I'm really suprised! If memory serves me correctly, you had a very nasty and intimidating experience. Have you thought about writing back and asking for an apology.
